High School Students - If you believe you have been on Principal's List and/or Honor Roll for each report card this year, please check the list on the auditorium door.  If your name is not spelled correctly or if you are not on the list, but believe you should be, please email Dr. Hines.  It is important that you check the list and email her if anything is incorrect before the end of school on Wednesday (April 6th)!  

This Monday, April 11th, the WORLD CUP SOCCER TOURNAMENT will return to Central after a 2-year hiatus! Each Foreign Language will present a team ready to vie for the FL World Cup Trophy! Everyone is invited out to the main Soccer Field during club time (10:30 - 11AM) on Monday to cheer on your language. For Spanish, wear RED; French BLUE; German GREEN; and for Latin, wear WHITE. Thank you! 

SPANISH high school students interested in playing on the WORLD CUP Soccer TEAM! Please meet with the Spanish Department Teachers in Room 208 at the beginning of CT time on Thursday to organize the team. Thank you! 

The National Spanish Exam will take place MONDAY and TUESDAY, April 11th and 12th for those registered students. As a reminder, all registered need to arrive on time during your normal Spanish class to Lab 134 with ear buds to take the Exam. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Spanish teacher. Thank you!

Central Outdoors and Red. Education Club (CORE) will be selling Sunshine Grams at all lunches this week for $1. Send your favorite teacher or administrator a note and sweet treat to show your appreciation for them this school year!  

LLS T-shirts designed by Josie Bush honoring Elijah Blank are on sale now through Friday, April 15th. A link to order shirts may be found on the Central webpage. The cost of the shirt is $20, and all proceeds will be donated in Elijah's name. The grade level in Middle School and High School that raises the most money will receive Double Lunches on a sunny day! Our goal is 100% participation from faculty and students!!  #FightForElijah 

Are you a senior wanting to leave your mark on the school or, freshmen, do you want to have an awesome parking pass for when you start driving next year? Join the contest to design our next parking pass. Check out the form on Central's homepage for the guidelines and to submit your designs.  The deadline for submission is Thursday, April 14.

Tryouts for the high school cheer team will take place in the Central gym after school beginning April 19th through April 22nd.  Information packets are available on the high school cheer web page or through Ms. Benjamin in Room 120.  All paperwork is due by April 18th.  Please contact Ms. Benjamin with any questions or concerns and we look forward to seeing all prospective cheerleaders on April 19th! 

If you are planning on trying out for middle school cheer, this message is for you: Mandatory summer camp dates have changed, they will now be held at separate times. July 9-10th and July 20-22nd. It must be split due to a change in the organization that will provide our camps. Please reach out to Ms. Hale if you have any further questions. 

Tennis is having a fundraiser at Blaze pizza on Medical Center Parkway tomorrow, Thursday, April 7th, from 5-9 pm. See Coach Angel or a tennis player for a flyer that you need to present. Please come out to support Tiger Tennis.  

Your Tiger baseball team defeated Hume-Fogg 7-4 to improve to 2-0 in district play. Esten Cook got the Win on the mound and Adam Apigian got the save. Adam Apigian also led the offense going 2 for 4 with a run scored.  

Make sure to congratulate your high school men's soccer team on their 10-1 win over Lawrence Co. last night celebrating Senior night.  Nine out of ten goals came from the seniors.  Ryan Stoddard scored his first two goals for Central while also keeping a clean sheet while in goal.  Christian Scott had a hat trick and an assist.  Jordan McGoffin scored twice and had an assist.  Brady Loughry scored twice, and Clay Thompson scored and assisted.  Miles Lee, Will Kassebaum, and Andre Moriel also added assists.  The JV team won 5-0 in a shortened match with goals from Jace Traughber, Isaiah Phillips, Landon Scraggins, Miles Ritter, and Ty Yoders scored. Nick Held kept the clean sheet in goal.
