FL World Cup has been RESCHEDULED to WEDNESDAY from 10:15 to 11 in the GYM! Wear your colors, cheer on your favorite language, and come ready to support! We look forward to seeing you then! 

Attention sophomores and juniors, applications for the National English Honor Society are now available on Mrs. Esberger's webpage. The application will close on Friday, April 22nd.  

Central Outdoors and Rec. Education (CORE) will continue to sell Sunshine Grams during lunches this week. For $1 you can send a teacher a special note with a sweet treat! Show your teachers you are thankful for them this year while supporting CORE! 

LLS T-shirts designed by Josie Bush honoring Elijah Blank are on sale now through Friday, April 15th. A link to order shirts may be found on the Central webpage. The cost of the shirt is $20, and all proceeds will be donated in Elijah's name. The grade level in Middle School and High School that raises the most money will receive Double Lunches on a sunny day! Our goal is 100% participation from faculty and students!!  #FightForElijah 

Are you a senior wanting to leave your mark on the school or, freshmen, do you want to have an awesome parking pass for when you start driving next year? Join the contest to design our next parking pass. Check out the form on Central's homepage for the guidelines and to submit your designs.  The deadline for submission is Thursday, April 14.

Attention, Juniors. There will be a junior meeting in the auditorium this morning at 10:30. Loveless will be here during that time to discuss important information that you will need as you prepare for your upcoming senior year. Again, juniors, please be sure to report immediately to the auditorium at the end of CT time for the meeting that will take place during advisory time today. 

Seniors, 

The senior group pictures will be made up tomorrow morning at 11:05 on the front steps of the school. Please be sure you wear your college shirt and bring your cap and gown with you when you report to the front of the school. Again, college shirt and cap and gown group pictures will be taken tomorrow immediately following fifth period. Please see Ms. Quinn if you have any questions. 

Tryouts for the high school cheer team will take place in the Central gym after school beginning April 19th through April 22nd.  Information packets are available on the high school cheer web page or through Ms. Benjamin in Room 120.  All paperwork is due by April 18th.  Please contact Ms. Benjamin with any questions or concerns and we look forward to seeing all prospective cheerleaders on April 19th! 

Blue Coast Burrito on Memorial Blvd is holding a fundraiser for HS tennis this Thursday, April 14 from 11am to 8pm.  Tell them you are there to support Central Magnet Tennis. Thank you for your support. 

Dance team tryouts are Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22 in the gym from 5-7 P.M. See Ms. Cindy Davis or visit the dance team website for tryout information.  

Your Tiger baseball team moved to 4 and 0 in district play with 2 impressive wins over Glencliff last night. Collin Wind got the Win in game 1 and Esten Cook got the Win in game 2. Carter Long was 3 for 3 with 2 triples in game 1. In game 2 John Hays had 2 hits and a stellar defensive play in Center Field. Will Becker was 3 for 3 in game 2.  

The girls middle school golf team consisting of Anna Powell, Lauren Powell, and Emery Mitchell came in 1st last night. Anna was overall low score, and Lauren was 2nd overall low score. The boys team consisting of Andrew Hakanson, Will Hemmrich, and Brandon Alston came in 3rd. They play again Thursday at cedar crest.  

Tennis traveled to Chattanooga yesterday where the boys won 7-1 and girls won 8-0 against Norte Dame. They add this to their Varsity and JV wins over Stewart’s Creek last week, with the varsity girls undefeated so far, this season and boys at 4-1. JV is undefeated. Tomorrow, they play Rockvale. Congratulations and good luck.
