Please join the Black Student Union for a Senior Seminar at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 30.  The topic of this seminar will be Navigating College, with a focus on experiences for minority students.  The event will begin at 10:00 am with donuts and coffee.  Please RSVP using the form on the BSU website to attend. 

Salvete Omnes!  In honor of Classics Week, Latin club is sponsoring a daily trivia contest.  On a piece of paper - write the answer to the question and your name.  Deposit in the box in Room 225. At the end of the day, a winner will be drawn from the correct answers.  If anyone has correct answers all five days, a grand prize winner will be drawn.  Today's question

Your high school men's soccer team has a massive week in district play.  They start off by taking on Spring Hill tonight at 5:30 here at Central.  Students get in free.    The week ends on Friday with district rivals Page HS kicking off at 4:30. Come out and make some noise as the guys compete for the 1st seed in the district. 

Dance Team auditions are Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, in the gym from 5-7 P.M. Potential new members must have all paperwork uploaded on Dragonfly before tryouts. See Cindy Davis or the dance website for more information.  

Tennis had a busy end of the week, bringing home wins against Rockvale last Thursday and Cookeville on Friday. They traveled to Bowling Green Saturday for a full day of tennis. They played tough matches against strong teams, ultimately coming up short of the win but taking many matches to tiebreaks and showing class and heart the whole day. They take on Oakland today.

Middle school softball defeated Rock Springs 14-2 on Monday. Hayley Mangrum led the team offensively with 3 hits and 3RBI. Sophia Croasdaile, Addison Retzlaff, Nicole Bryson, and Reagan Turnbow all had 2 hits.  Elena Peck allowed just one hit and two runs over four innings, striking out two.  

The Lady Tigers travel to Rockvale Wednesday.
