Attention sophomores and juniors, applications for the National English Honor Society are now available on Mrs. Esberger's webpage. The application will close on Friday, April 22nd.  

Please join the Black Student Union for a Senior Seminar at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 30.  The topic of this seminar will be Navigating College, with a focus on experiences for minority students.  The event will begin at 10:00 am with donuts and coffee.  Please RSVP using the form on the BSU website to attend. 

Destress Fest will be on Monday, April 25th from 4 pm-7 pm CST at Central Magnet School! This is a chance for students to relax before AP Exams! There will be pizza and drinks, so bring a blanket and a friend and relax with us! Destress Fest is on the last Monday before AP Exams, so our subject-based National Honors Societies will have tutors available for any last-minute questions! There will be corn-hole, spike-ball, board games, and more! Come to Destress Fest Monday, April 25th! :)  

FCA will meet each Friday morning starting this Friday April 22nd in the auditorium. Student led meetings will begin at 7:35 and wrap up by 7:55. Join us this week for a message from Isaac Smith. Donuts will be served. 

Dance Team auditions are Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, in the gym from 5-7 P.M. Potential new members must have all paperwork uploaded on Dragonfly before tryouts. See Cindy Davis or the dance website for more information.  

Middle school softball defeated Rock Springs 14-2 on Monday. Hayley Mangrum led the team offensively with 3 hits and 3RBI. Sophia Croasdaile, Addison Retzlaff, Nicole Bryson, and Reagan Turnbow all had 2 hits.  Elena Peck allowed just one hit and two runs over four innings, striking out two.  

The Lady Tigers travel to Rockvale this afternoon.

Your Tigers baseball team beat Maplewood last night and remain undefeated in district play. Will Becker threw a perfect game striking out 8. The Tigers will travel to Community tonight. Senior night will be Thursday at home vs Maplewood. 

The high school men's soccer team moved to 1st in the district with a 4-1 win over Spring Hill.  Andre Moriel put on a man of the match performance scoring a hat trick and adding an assist.  Will Kassebaum added the 4th goal.  Clay Thompson, Luke Chabot, and Charles Shamburger had assists.   Ryan Stoddard had 4 saves in goal.
