National English Honor Society acceptance letters were sent out on Monday. Please check your school email if you applied.

School-issued laptop collection will begin with seniors this week. Please bring your laptop and charger by the library before school from 7:30-8:00, after school from 3:00-3:15, or on the date your English class is scheduled. Watch the slide show after announcements for all the details on laptop collection.

All high school library books are due back on Wednesday, May 11 and all middle school books are due back on Friday, May 13.

Anyone that is interested in checking out books for the summer can go to the library webpage and click on the link in the gold bar to fill out the form. You will receive emails about the dates and times the library will be open over the summer after filling out the form.

We will be open for summer check-out starting back on Friday, May 20th so you can get a head start on summer reading!

If you see Hannah Gardner, Nahum Endale, Sofia Cardoso, or Nelly Brimah please congratulate them on making it to the HOSA International Conference for 2022. These students placed in the top 3 at the state competition to qualify for national placement. HOSA is extremely proud to have these 4 students represent CMS this summer!

The high school men's soccer team kicks off tonight here at Central at 5pm vs. Lawrence Co. in the 1st round of the district tournament.  Tickets are $5. Hope to see you out there.

The high school softball team wrapped up their regular season on Thursday, defeating Hume-Fogg 12-2. The win completes a perfect 10-0 record in district play and earns the Lady Tigers the #1 seed in the upcoming District Tournament. Freshman Megan Weber went 3/4, with 4RBI, and 3Runs scored. Emma Tellez also picked up three hits and Payton Nicholson drove in 3. Jacey Goetzinger picked up her 7th District win, allowing 4 hits and only 1 earned run over 5 innings.

The lady tigers will host their first district tournament game on Monday night at 5. Please make plans to attend and show support.
