All high school library books are due back on Wednesday, May 11 and all middle school books are due back on Friday, May 13.

Anyone that is interested in checking out books for the summer can go to the library webpage and click on the link in the gold bar to fill out the form. You will receive emails about the dates and times the library will be open over the summer after filling out the form.

We will be open for summer check out starting back on Friday, May 20th so you can get a head start on summer reading!

Attention all Juniors- please make sure that you get your permission form from your English teacher for the TN TECH college visit.

The college visit is May 18th and money and permission form is due by May 12th- Please turn in to Dr. Guthrie in attendance.

Tryouts for the girls HS basketball team will be Friday, May 27th from 2-3:30pm.  You must have all paperwork in completed in dragonfly. If you have questions, please see coach Bush.

Tryouts for the Middle School Girls' Basketball team will be held Friday, May 27th from 12:30-2:00.  Players make sure all paperwork and physicals are up to date in Dragonfly before that date.  See Mrs. Sissom if you have any questions. 

The Men's High School Basketball team will begin spring workouts on Monday May 16th for all returning players.

Tryouts are May 27th & May 31st from 5:00-7:00 pm. You must have all paperwork updated in Dragonfly to try out.

Your Tiger baseball team are district champs! The Tigers defeated MLK 13-1 to win the district title. Collin Wind got the win on the mound and gave up no earned runs. Collin was also named district pitcher of the year. Adam Apigian was named district MVP. All-district honors went to Will Becker, Esten Cook, John Cook, Jake Hogue, Mason Lanza, Carter Long, and Carter Maddox. The Tigers will host the region semi-final Monday at HOME.

The High School men's soccer team host the District championship tonight at 5:30 here at Central.  The boys will take on Page HS in a battle between two of the top 5 ranked schools in AA Soccer across the state.  Following the match, the All-District players will be recognized.

The high school softball team will host the 10 AAA district championship game today at McKnight Park at 5 PM. This comes after defeating Hume Fogg on Tuesday night 16 to 6. Central was led Tuesday by senior Jasmine Stanley’s 4/4 night she also drove in five runs. Hali Phillips was 3/4 with three RBIs. Today’s game will feature your number one seeded Lady Tigers versus the number two seed Hume Fogg. Please come out to support the softball team in their pursuit of History!
