All high school library books are due back on Wednesday, May 11 and all middle school books are due back on Friday, May 13.
Anyone that is interested in checking out books for the summer can go to the library webpage and click on the link in the gold bar to fill out the form. You will receive emails about the dates and times the library will be open over the summer after filling out the form.
We will be open for summer check-out starting back on Friday, May 20th so you can get a head start on summer reading!
Tryouts for the girls HS basketball team will be Friday, May 27th from 2-3:30pm. You must have all paperwork in completed in dragonfly. If you have questions, please see coach Bush.
Tryouts for the Middle School Girls' Basketball team will be held Friday, May 27th from 12:30-2:00. Players make sure all paperwork and physicals are up to date in Dragonfly before that date. See Mrs. Sissom if you have any questions.
The Men's High School Basketball team will begin spring workouts on Monday May 16th for all returning players.Tryouts are May 27th & May 31st from 5:00-7:00 pm. You must have all paperwork updated in Dragonfly to try out.
The HS men's soccer team are district Champions! They defeated Page HS 4-3 in pk's last night. Andre Moriel, Christian Scott, Luke Chabot, and Will Kassebaum all converted their kicks. Ryan Stoddard had a man-of-the-match performance with 6 saves during the game and 2 during the shootout.
All district players were also recognized. Andre Moriel was recognized as the district MVP. Luke Chabot as the offensive MVP and Merek Braiser as the Freshman of the year, 1st Team all-district included Keoni Yandall, Christian Scott, Charles Shamburger, and Will Kassebaum. The 2nd Team included Miles Lee and Jake Petty.
Congratulations to The Central Magnet Girls Tennis Team. They are the 2022 Region 5-AA Champs by virtue of a win over Lincoln County 4-0 at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The team is now 15-2 and will travel to Brentwood to play the Brentwood Bruins on Thursday May 19th with a spot in the Spring Fling on the line.
The high school softball team captured the 10 AAA softball championship Thursday afternoon. This is the first district championship in central Magnet softball history. Ellie Nath, Megan Weber, and Jacey Goetzinger combined for six innings of no-hit softball combining for 11 strikeouts. Jasmine Stanley Hali Phillips, and Peyton Nicholson each picked up three hits and multiple RBIs. The Lady Tigers will host the first ever regional tournament game on Monday night at McKnight Park against Montgomery Central the time of that game is yet to be determined.
