Students, if you are interested in taking a summer school course please see your school counselor for the required paperwork this week. Summer School registration will begin on May 27 at Blackman High School from 4-7 PM.
If you received an invitation to High School Awards Night, please report to the auditorium this Friday, May 20th at the beginning of 6th period to go over the details for the ceremony. If you have any questions, see Dr. Hines.
All 9th graders who are participating in Field day need to go to the gym TODAY (Wednesday 5/18) during CT time today.
This Friday, May 20th, will be the big locker clean out for all classes. While cleaning out, the CMS First Priority Clubs will be collecting unused and gently used school supplies to donate to some organizations for use in summer programs and to help students in need in the Fall.
-Boxes and signs will be placed throughout the building to collect supplies.
-A schedule for clean out times per grade level will be sent to teachers a little later this week.
Those packs of paper, pencils, binders, rulers, composition notebooks, pencil pouches, and even locker shelves can be passed and put to good use by others, rather than thrown away and wasted.

Tryouts for the girls and boys HS cross country team will be Friday, May 27th from 10:30-11:30pm. You must have all paperwork completed in dragonfly. If you have questions, please see Coach Nichols or Coach Windham.
Congrats to the high school track team for another great showing on Thursday at the sectional meet in Fairview. Boys finished fifth while the girls finished fourth. Advancing to the state meet on Tuesday May 24th are Emma Kate Hamby in the 3200m run, Samantha Ouellette in the 800m open and 1600m run, Blake Yuenger in the 3200m run, and the boys 4x800m relay team consisting of Vinny Peck, Henry Nance, Edan Pingitore, and Gavin Mercado. In addition to these team members who have advanced to state, the team set 20 season best times. Of those 20, 13 were personal all-time individual bests. If you see these track athletes, please congratulate them and wish the state team the best of luck as they represent our school next week. Go Tigers!
Congratulations to our regional runners up in individual’s tennis. They played hard against tough competitors from Siegel, Lincoln County and Coffee County. The girls take on Brentwood tomorrow in the team regional match. Well done to the entire team on a strong season
The high school men's soccer team is headed to the Region Championship after a convincing 10-1 win over Sycamore high school. Andre Moriel, Will Kassebaum, and Miles Ritter each scored a brace. Luke Chabot and Jordan McGoffin each had a goal and two assists. Further goals came from Brady Loughry and Jace Traughber.
Trevor Hall, Will and Andre also had assists. Ryan Stoddard and Isaiah Phillips combined for 3 saves in goal.
The Region Championship will be Thursday at Richard Siegel Park. Kickoff at 7:30 against familiar foe, Page HS.
