Do you need help with your math summer work? Sign up for Tiger Time math tutoring using the QR codes posted throughout the school or in your teacher's classroom. Tutoring is available all lunches during 6th period in room 133 down the science wing.
All students will check out laptops if they need one during library orientation this week and next. If you'd like a laptop BEFORE your orientation lesson with your English teacher, you may stop by the library before school between 7:30 and 8:00 or after school between 3:00 and 3:30 any day.

The Central Chess Team will begin the year with open play and important parent information meeting on Monday, August 15th. Open play will be from 3:15 to 5:15 in room 132 with the parent meeting beginning at 4:30 in room 133.
Attention current 8th and 12th grade students. We are searching for new mentors for the 2022-2023 school year. 8th grade students will mentor 6th grade students and seniors will mentor 9th grade students. Mentors are in good academic and behavior standing here at Central Magnet. Our mentors are model students. Any Middle or High School student that is interested in joining the Tiger News Team, and helping with morning announcements should attend the TNT interest meeting during club time on Monday in the band room. Juniors and seniors who are enrolled in a dual enrollment class MUST complete the dual enrollment checklist this week to remain in the class! Please see your school counselor if you have questions.
Seniors, check your school email for some important messages from your Counselor.
A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Have a meeting location at school and at home that everyone will gather after a fire evacuation. A meeting location will help you quickly verify that everyone made it out safely.

Today is the last day to let Ms. Hale know if you want to try-out for middle school cheerleading. Please email her or visit her in room 218 before the end of the school day. All paperwork will be due August 22nd for those trying out.
