Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 don't forget to sign up to take the PSAT!  Informational emails were sent to your parents, you can find information on the main website, or stop by and ask your school counselor for more details about this test.  You can sign up and pay in attendance or pay online.  Registration closes on September 8.  If you have questions about registration stop by attendance. 

French Club will have its first meeting next Friday September 9 in club rotation D.   If you are interested in being a part of French Club this year, please go the club website and join the TEAMS and Remind101 for more information and to sign up to bring bread and cheese to the first meeting. We hope to see you soon. “Merci beaucoup!” 

Middle School GSA will be having a get together Friday, September 9 from 3-6. For more information, please join the club teams or remind, found on the webpage under clubs or on Ms. Angel's website, and request admission to the teams/remind. This is for Central GSA members only. We hope to see you then. 

Students wishing to join HS Beta submit completed applications to Dr. Roland in room 120 by Friday, September 9.  If you have any questions, ask Dr. Roland or Ms. SK. 

Friday September 9th marks the first meeting of the year for CMS HOSA. This meeting will be in the auditorium and is open to anyone interested in joining our club. Club dues will be $20 this year, which covers state & national dues. Please make plans to be at this meeting if you plan to be a member this year! 

The Black Student Union will meet after school on Wednesday, September 7, in Ms. Taylor's room (222).  All interested are invited to attend from 3:15-3:45. 

The TableTop Boardgaming Club meeting is moving from Wednesday, September 7th to Thursday, September 8th. September 8th will also be the final day that students can pay their club dues to join for this semester. Please see Mr. Harper if you have any questions. 

The Central Magnet Cross Country Team is hosting a yard sale Saturday morning, September 3 on the Central Magnet lawn in front of College Corner. Come support your Tigers and pick up some cool stuff. 

Your middle school Lady Tiger soccer team lost a tough match yesterday, falling 2-1 to Blackman. Blackman scored with less than one minute remaining to steal the victory. Taylor Ertl had eight saves on the day and Elizabeth Hamilton scored. The varsity falls to 5-2 on the season, while the JV remains undefeated with a 2-0 shutout of the Lady Flames. Avery Dale and Amelia Bogle each scored while Charlotte Kerr and Abbey Mott combined for the clean sheet in goal.  

Middle school tennis picked up another win against Oakland yesterday, winning all of their matches. They are off to a great start this season.
