Informational emails were sent to your parents, you can find information on the main website, or stop by and ask your school counselor for more details about this test. You can sign up and pay in attendance or pay online. Registration closes on September 8. If you have questions about registration stop by attendance.

High School Students: For those interested in earning the Seal of Biliteracy, there will be a meeting Wednesday, September 14th at 3:15 in Mrs. Dixon's Room - Room #221. We'll discuss what steps you need to take to receive this prestigious award. Juniors & Seniors are especially encouraged to attend.

High School First Priority is a club that promotes Christian community and meets in Mr. Barham's room on Tuesdays at 7:30 for lessons and meets in Mrs. Pinson's room on Thursdays at 7:30 for discussion and prayer time. We hope to see you there!

Friday, September 9th marks the first meeting of the year for CMS HOSA. This meeting will be in the auditorium and is open to anyone interested in joining our club. Club dues will be $20 this year, which covers state & national dues. Please make plans to be at this meeting if you plan to be a member this year!

If you are taking the ACT on Sept. 10, 2022 at Central Magnet School, PLEASE LEAVE EARLY to get here!!! There is a race occurring that will affect your drive in. There will be road closures. You will be allowed to come through to get to the back, high school parking lot if you tell race workers or police officers you are taking the ACT. We will open the doors at 7:35-7:40. The test will begin promptly at 8:00. PLEASE ALSO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR ID AND ADMISSION TICKET! (ACT prohibits entry without those items). An email was sent with more details. The high school volleyball team swept the Community Viqueens last night. The JV team kicked off the action with a convincing 25-16, 25-9 win. Becca Jerkins led the way with 13 assists, 2 aces and 2 digs. Jaclyn Owens and Rylee Pelham each had 5 kills. Alli Malone chipped in 5 digs and 5 aces.
The varsity team also swept the match with a 25-16, 25-19, 25-14 victory. Grace Martindale finished with 10 digs, 3 aces and an assist. Maddie Porter had 12 assists, 3 aces, 4 digs and 3 kills. Rylee Zeller chipped in 7 kills, 1 block and 1 assist. Both teams return to action tonight as they host district foe Giles County.
The high school girl's soccer team will host a district match up tonight at 5:30 PM vs. Lincoln Co. This promises to be a great matchup and the girls would love to see you out to cheer them on. Central students get in free.
The Lady Tiger Middle School Soccer team improved their record last night with a 6-4 win over Thurman Francis. Abbey Mott led the team with two goals while Landry LaPointe, Catherine Zubkus, Amelia Bogle, and Emersyn Gusman each had one. Zubkus also recorded two assists and LaPointe had one. Other highlights included Charlotte Kerr with a diving save in goal.
