SNHS is hosting Professor Nate Callendar from the Aerospace Department at MTSU on Wednesday the 28th at 3:15 in the Senior Cafeteria. This event is open to anyone who is interested in hearing him speak, but for SNHS members it will be an opportunity to earn two points. You can earn one point for attending and one for bringing snacks or refreshments.  

High School! The Golden Cup is back up for grabs!  Here is a video to remind you about how the Golden Cup works!   *show video*  This week you can earn points by participating in the dress up days, attending the tailgate and soccer game today, winning the pep rally games, winning the spirit stick, and winning the dodgeball tournament.  

Student Council is selling Central Magnet yard signs.  There are over 20 different designs that include fine arts, sports teams, and general Central signs.  There is a design for congratulating the Class of 2023.  We even have a sign for grandparents! High Schoolers!  You have until Friday to order your class shirt.  Go to https://rocketshirts.chipply.com/CMClassShirts/ to purchase the shirt for your students' grade-level.  This store will also close this Friday, September 30th.   

The International thespian society is hosting its first ever Haunted House event! The haunted house will be the weekend of October 14-16 from 7-9pm all three nights. It will take place in annex and lead out into the courtyard where a themed bake sale and face painting will happening.  It is $7 for admittance to the haunted house. This is sure to be one spooky, scary haunted house! you don't want to miss this!!  

Students planning on getting their Driver's Permit over Fall Break, please remember you must have a signed SF1010 form from the Attendance office.  Thank you. 

Do you like music sung in French or Portuguese? Do you dream of reaching for the stars? Do you like a scary thunderstorm, or a story about a great battle that brings down the walls of a city?  YOU can experience all this and MORE at the High School and Middle School Choir Concert this Thursday, September 29 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission is FREE, and we would love to see you there!  

Juniors and Sophomores, if you are interested in playing dodgeball, there are still spots remaining for your grade levels.  See Ms. SK for a form.  These forms are needed as soon as possible. 

Attention All Students:    As usual, we will have Reading Rooms available this Friday during the pep rally, mid-morning activities, and afternoon activities.  The Middle School sign up sheets are posted upstairs by Ms. Hale’s room and High School sign up sheets are posted on the auditorium doors.  When you sign up, please print your name NEATLY and MAKE NOTE OF WHICH ROOM you will report to.    

Students should not need to go anywhere while in the reading rooms (except the restroom). This is not a punishment but is rather an opportunity for students who enjoy a quieter atmosphere to avoid the noise and crowds of Spirit Day. Once a student is in the room, he or she is to remain there until the next activity.  

The Central Tiger bowlers fell to Stewarts Creek last night by a point total of 19 to 4. However, Collin Lindquist posted a career high score of 205. The bowlers are back in action on Thursday afternoon vs. Riverdale. 

Any middle school girls interested in playing softball for the spring season is encouraged to fill out an interest survey. This survey can be found on Coach O'Hara teacher page under links or you can stop by her office located in the gymnasium. No previous playing experience is required! Please fill out this survey by Friday, Sept 30. Season information is forthcoming!  

Anyone not able to attend the spring Middle School Boys Basketball tryout can attend the fall tryout on Wednesday Oct. 12 from 3 - 4:30 here at central.  If you have any Questions Please see Coach Rowland. 

The middle school volleyball team played their final game of the season in the district tournament last night.  They had 2 great sets against Stewarts Creek, but ended up a little short.  Lily Stuible, Olivia Koffman, Emery Bland, and Jada Eskinde all had Aces!  Thank you to everyone who supported us this season.
