The International thespian society is hosting its first ever Haunted House event! The haunted house will be the weekend of October 14-16 from 7-9pm all three nights. It will take place in annex and lead out into the courtyard where a themed bake sale and face painting will be happening. It is $7 for admittance to the haunted house. This is sure to be one spooky, scary haunted house! you don't want to miss this!!
The Cake Decorating Club WILL NOT MEET TODAY, Monday, Oct. 10. Look on the club's webpage on Wednesday for an after-school activity next week.

The library is hosting a trivia lunch on Monday, October 17 during A/B lunch blocks for middle school & C/D lunch blocks for high school. We will have pizza and trivia for $10. There are a limited number of slots available, so sign up and bring your money by Thursday, October 13th to the library.

Your high school volleyball team is district 9 runner ups. The Tigers defeated Giles County and Tullahoma before facing off against Lawrence County in the district championship. They came up short losing 3 to 1.
Mia Finley, Brook Filaroski, and Noella Obi were named all district. Finley, Obi, and Emma Grace Smith were name to the district 9 All-Tournament team.
The Tigers will compete in the region five tournament on Tuesday at Valor Collegiate Prep Academy in Nashville. Central will play district 10 champion Valor at 2 PM for an opportunity to play in the regional championship game at six.
Students in 9th- 11th grade: If you did not get a PSAT student practice guide to take home, there are a few more in attendance. Stop by today and pick one up- PSAT test is Wednesday!
Congratulations to the TMSAA Class A State Champions - the CMS middle school boys cross-country team. They won the state meet on October 1st in Clarksville. Team members were Carson Philips, Brady Barrett, Sawyer Evans, Ben Hogan, Nate Dyer, Luca Guevart, and Phillip Smith. Not only did the team win, but Carson finished as the individual state champion as well with a 2-mile time of 11:27.
The girls team also ran an excellent race, finishing 4th as a team. Top finishers were Catherine Zubkus and Elizabeth Hamilton.
