The goal of Radio Club is to inspire students to be active in amateur radio and the many branches it offers and to help students to understand what radio is and how it is used within the world today. Help save 3 lives by being a blood donor! HOSA is hosting a blood drive here at Central on Thursday, November 10th from 7:30 to 1:30 in the gym. The sign-up is located on Central's main page, Mrs. Harrison's main page, and the HOSA webpage. If you cannot be a blood donor encourage family and friends to donate. Key Club is having a Donation drive to benefit the Domestic Violence Shelter from October 17-November 4, 2022. Supplies needed: Body wash, bottled water, deodorant, nonperishable lunch items, dish liquid laundry detergent/dryer sheets, household cleaners, mouthwash, paper towels, toilet paper, sanitizer, shampoo/conditioner. Today is the last day of the book fair and the library will close at 11:00. Any student may visit the library after getting a pass during 1st, 2nd, or 3rd periods. There will be no concessions today after 8:00. The library will be closed this afternoon for an author visit. The librarians look forward to seeing you all in the library again for regular business on Monday.

Congratulations to the Middle school boys basketball team on their victory over Community Middle School. Hollis Jackson and Kia Jones lead all scores with 9 points apiece while Isaac Messick and Owen Butler each added 5.

The Middle School Lady Tigers improved to 2-0 after fierce battle last night with the Viqueens of Community. After numerous lead changes throughout the game, they secured a 34-33 win. The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Madisen Stanley with 14. Lia Reyes added 7 while Bailey Foster chipped in 6. The JV girls were also victorious winning by a score of 28-21. Emery Bland had 11 while Norah Clancy added 10. Middle School basketball gets a break until their next game on Friday, Nov. 11th which also a home game.
