Key Club is having a Donation drive to benefit the Domestic Violence Shelter from October 17-November 4, 2022.  Supplies needed: Body wash, bottled water, deodorant, nonperishable lunch items, dish liquid laundry detergent/dryer sheets, household cleaners, mouthwash, paper towels, toilet paper, sanitizer, shampoo/conditioner. Crates are located around the school. Questions? Email Mrs. Givens or Ms. Mayette.  

ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR BETA MEMBERS- if you paid your dues but haven't been added to the Jr. Beta Teams page, please email Mrs. Stanley. 

Any 7th or 8th grader going to Jr. Beta convention- fees are due this Friday! Please turn those in to Mrs. Nicole Davis ASAP. Remember- even if you just took an online test- you still have to pay the registration fees for convention! Come see Mrs. Stanley or Mrs. Davis with any Jr. Beta convention questions. 

All new 6th and 7th grade Jr. Beta members can submit their $30 club dues to Mrs. Stanley. New members are not participating in convention this year.  

Attention students and faculty.  Remember E rotation is Monday 11/7.  Everyone will meet in Advisory rooms on E rotation Monday.  Again, everyone in grades 6-12 will meet in Advisory rooms this Monday 11/7 and each subsequent E rotation.  Mentors, your groupings and lesson for Monday 11/7 are posted on the mentoring website.  See Mr. Nichols if you have any questions. 

Cheer will be selling Smoothies this Friday at all 4 lunches.  Come by and support cheer. 

Varsity HS Cheer competes this Saturday in the TSSAA state cheer championship.  The event is held in Murphy Center at MTSU.  We compete at 12:20.  Come out and support HS Cheer.   

Attention high school students!  You can now order a Central Letterman Jacket. Pick up a flyer with all the details in the attendance office. Let Coach Kirksey know if you have any questions.  

Your Central Magnet High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both ended their season as State Runner Up. Ty Brown and Ben Clemence paced the boys and earned All State Recognition for their efforts.  Henry Nance, Tony Peck, Vinny Peck, Miles Ritter, and Edan Pingitore rounded out the boys team. They finished with an average time of 17:28. Mikayla Morrell and Taylor Walker led the girls team and were recognized on the All State Team. Ella Anderson, Amelia Worsley, Anna Niedzielski, Sarah Gwen Arnold, and Emily Bush rounded out the girls. Their average time was 20:58. Thanks to our runners, and especially our seniors, for an incredible season! Congratulate your Tiger runners when you see them today.  

Wilson Elementary is hosting their chili supper on November 10 from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm.  They are in need of volunteers to help with games. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Bekah Davis at [email protected]

Don't forget that makeups for fall pictures will be taken today in the auditorium. These pictures will begin with 6th graders and are organized by grade level. Please see the picture schedule on the CMS homepage for more information.
