Veteran's day is Armistice day in France, celebrating the end of WW1. The French often wear blue cornflowers made of tissue or paper to remember those lost in wartime, like our Memorial Day, but also to show solidarity with veterans. The first Bleuets (blue-ay) to be made and sold were the idea French nurse Suzanne Lenhardt in 1916, as a way to give wounded veterans an activity and then they were sold to provide some income. French Club has made some to honor and recognize our veterans here at Central, as well as for those teachers with family members who have served. If you see this blue flower in a teacher's room, please thank them for their service.

Attention high school students!  You can now order a Central Letterman Jacket. Pick up a flyer with all the details in the attendance office. Let Coach Kirksey know if you have any questions.

If you are interested in joining the 2023 Central Magnet Track Team, please complete the interest form by Nov 27th. The form can be found on the CMS Track web page.
