Middle School Students: This Thursday during your lunch study hall time, you will have the opportunity to take the 2022 CMS GeoBee Qualifying Quiz. The quiz is online and takes just a few minutes. The top 30 scores on the quiz move on to the Preliminary Round in a couple of weeks. This is a fun and stress free competition that takes place here during the school day so everyone is encouraged to try. And if you play golf for Coach Burns participation is mandatory. 

ATTENTION ALL 6th graders! There is an important survey in your email this morning from Mrs. Stanley. You should fill it out at the beginning of CT. It will help organize your thoughts for the day. Please take this survey before 9:45am TODAY.  

Attention High School Students! If you would like information on the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, come to an informational session with Central Graduate and current West point student, Dalton Jenkins. We will meet in the Senior Cafeteria, after school, next Monday, November 21st. The meeting will be over by 4:00.  

We will be serving our Thanksgiving Dinner for students and staff today in the cafeteria. The menu will be ham or turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, dressing, yams, assorted fruits, and chocolate or vanilla pudding... yum! 

DECA will host a Spirit Night at Panera located at 2105 Memorial Blvd Suite A, tonight from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Come out and support DECA as we will receive a portion of the proceeds. Use code FUND4U if ordering online, in the Panera app or at the kiosk in-cafe.

Juniors and Seniors, Check your email for important information about a virtual meeting with Ole Miss Admissions and their International Studies faculty on Monday, Nov. 21 during CT. (The meeting link is included in the email). Also, on Tuesday, Nov. 22 during C/D lunches, College Corner will host some of our CMS graduates representing the Naval Academy. Stop by to learn more!

The Central Magnet Tigers started their season out with a 83-60 victory last night when they traveled to White House High School and took on the Blue Devils.  The Tigers were led by Mason Brown with 26 points and 9 rebounds, Will Becker added 19 points and Owen Zubkus added 10 points and Mclane Martin 9 points. The Tigers will return to action on Saturday when they take on Red Bank High School at the Coffee County Hall of Fame Day. 

Last night the Lady Tigers got off to a 1-0 start on the season by defeating White House 53-40. Addison Melton led a balanced scoring night with 16pts, Olivia Hart added 15pts, Bethany Jackson had 11pts, Reilly McMillan had 9 pts and 4 steals and Reese Martin chipped in 3pts. The Lady Tigers will be in action again this Saturday as they take on York and Coffee Co.  

The Tiger Bowling team fell a little short last night to Blackman, losing by only 11 pinfalls. However, Nathaniel Carter led the team with a score of 235. This was Nathaniel's sixth score of 200+ in the last seven matches. He is now averaging a score of 200 for the season.
