31 middle school students qualified for the Preliminary Round of the 2022 CMS GeoBee. Go to Coach Burns' GeoBee webpage to see the list. The Preliminary Round will be held on Tuesday, November 29, in Room 202 during 6th period. Competitors will eat A lunch then report to Coach Burns' room. Be sure to use the study resources on Coach Burns' GeoBee webpage to prepare. Good luck! 

Attention High School Students! If you would like information on the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, come to an informational session with Central Graduate and current West point student, Dalton Jenkins. We will meet in the Senior Cafeteria, after school, next Monday, November 21st. The meeting will be over by 4:00.

In October each year, Tennessee high school choir singers have the opportunity to audition for honor choirs at the district, regional and state levels. Our students competed with hundreds of other students for spots in these choirs. As always, Central Magnet is well-represented in all of these high school honor choirs!

In addition, Isabella Kinard and Leah Pruter recently traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to sing the with the All-National Honor Choir. There were only seven students from Tennessee chosen for All-National Choir, and no other students from Rutherford County were selected.  

Congratulations to all of these outstanding choir students for their musical accomplishments!  

Juniors and Seniors, Check your email for important information about a virtual meeting with Ole Miss Admissions and their International Studies faculty on Monday, Nov. 21 during CT. (The meeting link is included in the email). Also, on Tuesday, Nov. 22 during C/D lunches, College Corner will host some of our CMS graduates representing the Naval Academy. Stop by to learn more! 

The Middle School Lady tigers picked up two wins last night against Smyrna in both JV and varsity contests.   Anna Redmon led JV with 11 points while Norah Clancy, Emery Bland and Sam Odell had 4 each.  The varsity also had several in the scoring column led by dual effort from Lia Reyes and Madisen Stanley with 13 each followed by Bailey Foster with 6.  Central is away on Monday night but back at home at Cannon Co on Tuesday.  Come out and support your Tigers and Lady Tigers!
