Anna Robertson was selected as the principal violist, and both Anna Robertson and Isabella Kinard were also accepted into the All-State orchestra! Congratulations to these fine musicians.

Coach Snow will be leading a WWII-themed tour of Europe in the summer of 2024. They will visit London, the D-Day beaches in Normandy, Munich, Hitler’s Eagles Nest in the Bavarian Alps - and Salzburg, Austria – the birthplace of Mozart and setting for The Sound of Music. Attend tonight's high school basketball game and earn Golden Cup points for your class. Just scan the QR code at the door. Juniors are currently in the lead with a grand total of 160 points, followed by sophomores with 120 points. Seniors and freshmen are tied for 3rd with 100 points each.
The Magnetude Robotics team won every award in their division this past Saturday at the TVA Robot Drone League competition. The team won Top Rookie Team, Top Scoring Team, and was Champion of the contest that was held in Chattanooga. The team now moves on to the national competition at East Tennessee State University in February.

The middle school musical of The Little Mermaid Jr has performances coming up on December 2 and 3 @7pm and December 4 @5pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and children 5 and under get in for free. You can purchase your tickets at the door with cash or check only OR you purchase them online by scanning a QR on a poster hanging on a bulletin board throughout the school or going to Mrs. Sweet's website where a link is also available. Come out and support your middle school students in this fun production under the sea!

The Lady Tigers basketball team traveled to Coffee Co. on Saturday to play in a very competitive classic. The Lady Tigers fell to York in the first game 40-51 in what was a very competitive contest. Olivia Hart led the way with 23 pts, Reese Carlisle had 9pts with the three 3 pointers, Addison Melton had 5pts and Bethany Jackson chipped in 3 pts. Also, Olivia Hart went over the 1000 pts mark for her career. She has had a great career and it's not over yet. In the 2nd game the Lady Tigers once again faced a state ranked team. The Tigers hung around for a while, but the size of Coffee Co. prevailed in the end. The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Olivia Hart with 17pts, Addison Melton had 10pts, Reilly McMillian and Bethany Jackson chipped in 3 pts apiece. The Lady Tigers will host Franklin Road Christian tonight at home at 6pm. Come out and support the Tigers!
The Middle School Swim Team had a great meet on Saturday against 8 other Middle Tennessee swim teams at the LaVergne High School Turkey Invitational Meet. There were some great Top 3 finishes from Ashtyn Patterson, Allie Abbott, Harper Rose MacNeal, Chloe Roeder, Benjamin Huang, Jake Bull, JT Parkerson, Charlie Hurst, Emily Guess, and Max Patel. Congratulations to the following swimmers who qualified for Regionals in at least one of their events: Chloe Roeder, Mady Oring, JT Parkerson, Charlie Hurst, Jay Williams, Max Patel, Allie Abbott, and Jake Bull. The Tigers are back in the pool on Tuesday night against Oakland, LaVergne, and PCA.
The High School swim team had their second division meet of the season against Riverdale High School on Thursday night, with both the boys and girls teams having great wins. Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed first in at least one of their events: Taylor Walker, Jackie Dummermuth, Evie Riley, Kim Bao Nguyen, Evan Keegan, Cameron Conley, Jean Drugmand, Parker Dawes, Sara Grace Terrell, Cameron Walker, and Lilly Ann Brown.

Congratulations to Cameron Conley for qualifying for state in the 500 Freestyle and Jean Drugmand for qualifying for state in the 200 Individual Medley. The Tigers will be back in the pool in December against Green Hill High School and PCA.
Congratulations to all our archers that participated in the tournament this past weekend. We had four archers place in the bullseye tournament. Daniel Choe placed 4th and Owen Taylor placed 1st in the MS Male Division and Mikayla Harris was the 2nd place HS Female and Jackson Harris was the 3rd place HS Male. In the 3D tournament, Owen Taylor was the 1st place MS Male, Jackson Harris was 2nd place HS Male and Mikayla Harris was the 1st place HS Female. I have attached the bullseye scores from the tournament.
The Central Magnet Tigers improved to 3-0 on the season on Saturday with a 66-44 win over Red Bank HS and a 65-56 win over Summertown HS. Against Red Bank the Tigers were led by Will Becker with 27 pts and Mason Brown with 17 pts and Carson Wood chipping in 10 pts. Against Summertown Mason Brown scored 28 pts, Will Becker 11 pts, and Jake Maddox 8 pts. The Tigers will be in action tonight for the 1st home game of the season when they take on Franklin Road Christian School. JV boys is at 4:!5, Varsity Girls 6:00 and Varsity Boys 7:30.
