There is only one spot available to sign up to see the therapy dogs during sixth period today, the sign up on the sheet is posted on the library doors. After you've signed up, watch for an e-mail from Calista Haynes so you can help her complete a quick survey for her senior thesis before you visit the dogs. Teachers, a list of students that have signed up to visit the dogs will be emailed to you. Please check the list before you send a student to the library. 

The Central Car club is looking for high school volunteers to help with the Stones River Swap Meet on February 4th and 5th. You can work one or both days. If you are interested or have questions, please email Officer Culp at culps@rcschools or come by and see Mrs. Culp in room 236. 

Rho Kappa is collecting soda tabs this holiday season for the Ronald McDonald's House at Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital. They collect aluminum pull tabs from any container (soda pop, soup, pet food, etc.) and work with a local recycler to turn those tabs into money for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment at Nashville area hospitals.  Our group is collecting these until December 15th. Any donation can be sent to Mr. Eldridge's room (115). 

Remember to get your SF1010 form in Attendance if you plan on getting your Driver's Permit over the Christmas holiday. 

The audition packet for the high school spring musical, The Sound of Music, is now available on Mrs. Sweet's website. Vocal auditions are Wednesday, December 14. Make sure to sign up for a time slot using the signup genius link that is located in the audition packet. There will be three middle school roles offered for this musical. Middle school students interested in auditioning should read the audition packet carefully and email Mrs. Sweet. 

The middle school cheerleading squad is excited to announce that we are selling a vintage CMS sweatshirt. It is available in both youth and adult sizes. A portion of the proceeds will support our squad as we raise funds for nationals in February. The last day to purchase a sweatshirt is December 11th. The delivery will be on January 6th. You can either access the link that can be found on the middle school cheerleading page or look for a flyer with a QR code to order. The Middle School Lady Tigers split in their games with Oakland Middle last night.  The JV came up with a win led by Anna Redmon with 8 points, Emery Bland added 7 while Norah Clancy finished with 6 points and 6 assists and Samarah Odell had 5 points and 3 assists.  The Varsity played a tough game, but took a loss led in scoring by Madisen Stanley with 10 points, Landry LaPointe with 6 and Lillie Bryant finishing out with 4.
