Please remember that if you are interested in auditioning for the talent show on January 27th, you should submit an audition video through the FlipGrid. All students auditioning also must fill out the corresponding information form found. If you have already submitted an audition, please double check you have completed the form. Anyone who is interested in auditioning but will be unable to submit a video by this evening should email Mr. Click as soon as possible. 

Middle School Youth in Government is holding an interest meeting Wednesday, January 18th. The club offers students an introduction to the Tennessee Legislature through bill creation and a one-day conference at the Tennessee Capital. The informational meeting will be in Ms. Cindy Davis's room, 240, after school until 4pm. Pick up in the middle school parking lot at 4pm. 

Beta and CORE club are joining together to donate to the Coldest Nights Coat Drive. They will be accepting new or lightly worn winter coats, hats, gloves, and scarves from January 9th-31st. Donation bins will be in Mrs. SK's room, Dr. Roland's room, and Mrs. Hendrixson's room. 

The Central Magnet Tigers picked up a big win on Tuesday night with a 66-54 victory over the Hume Fogg Knights. The Tigers were led by Will Becker with 21 points, Mason Brown 17 points and Owen Zubkus 10 points. Jake Maddox chipped in 8 points. The Tigers are off until next Tuesday when they host Valor Collegiate.  

We will sell Smoothies during all 4 lunches on Friday. Don't forget to bring your $6.00. 

If you ordered a vintage sweatshirt from middle school cheer, it is now available for pick-up. Please see Ms. Hale in room 218 any day this week before or after school to pick-up your shirt. Thank you for supporting the squad! 

The Lady Tigers defeated Hume Fogg last night 63-19 to go to 5-0 in the district and 16-4 overall. The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Reilly McMillan and Olivia Hart with 14pts each, Reese Carlisle added 11pts, Addison Melton had 6pts and 5 assist, Bethany Jackson added 6pts, Libby Hines added 5pts, Julia Stuible finished with 4pts Reagan Creasy had 2pts and Reese Martin finished with 1pt. The Lady Tigers will be back in action next Tuesday vs Valor.
