Attention sophomores and juniors! If you are interested in joining the Writing Lab next year as a peer tutor, applications are now available on Mrs. Eubanks's school website. Applications and recommendations are due to Mrs. Eubanks no later than Friday, January 27th.  

Middle School Youth in Government is holding an interest meeting Wednesday, January 18th. The club offers students an introduction to the Tennessee Legislature through bill creation and a one-day conference at the Tennessee Capital. The informational meeting will be in Ms. Cindy Davis's room, 240, after school until 4pm. Pick up in the middle school parking lot at 4pm. 

Beta and CORE club are joining together to donate to the Coldest Nights Coat Drive. They will be accepting new or lightly worn winter coats, hats, gloves, and scarves from January 9th-31st. Donation bins will be in Mrs. SK's room, Dr. Roland's room, and Mrs. Hendrixson's room. 

Middle School Students, if you are interested in playing volleyball on Homecoming Day, please get a permission form from your Social Studies teacher today. Ask your parents to complete it and sign it! Return completed form to your Social Studies teachers next week. The deadline to turn in forms is Thursday the 19th. There is a limited amount of spaces, so the sooner you turn in your form, the higher chance you have to be a part of the team. E-mail Mrs. Kime if you have any questions.  

The last day to change a class this semester is January 13. 

Seniors:  If you are applying for the Ned McWherter scholarship you must see your counselor to send your transcript to the state. 

 If you ordered a vintage sweatshirt from middle school cheer, it is now available for pick-up. Please see Ms. Hale in room 218 any day this week before or after school to pick-up your shirt. Thank you for supporting the squad! 

The JV High School boys basketball team improved to 6-2 on the season last night with a 37-35 victory over Holloway. The team was led in scoring by Alijah Dean and Garrett Florida who each scored 10 points. The team overcame a six point deficit in the fourth to earn the come from behind win.  

The Middle School Lady Tigers closed out the regular season last night with a pair of wins against Stewart's Creek.  The varsity won 31-10 with Lia Reyes and Madisen Stanley leading with 11 points each.  Landry LaPointe had 4, Bailey Foster had 3 while Catherine Zubkus added 2.  The JV girls won easily as well and were led in scoring by Norah Clancy and Anna Redmon.   The Lady Tigers earned the #3 seed in the area tournament and will play E.A. Cox on Thursday.
