Attention high school students? Do you like to create, design, and bring those creations to life? Maybe you have always been interested in theatre, but the idea of performing hinders you from participating in a course or production. Well, listen to this! Next year there will be a high school technical theatre course offered for any student in grades 9-12. There is no pre-requisite to sign up. In this class we will go over set and costume design and construction, lighting design, publicity/marketing, a business career in theatre, and more! Ask your guidance counselor about more information and how to sign up in your meeting for scheduling next year’s classes. You can also see Mrs. Sweet with any questions!
If you need to take a test to earn the Seal of Biliteracy, please see Ms. Dixon's website to register for an exam. The test will be administered on campus Thursday, Feb. 23rd during the school day.

This is a great way to get a flower to that special someone or friend on Valentine’s Day. Send some to all your friends so they have a beautiful memory to cherish forever. Stop by to have your flower and note hand-delivered to their 4th period class.
It's cold outside and while we get to be warm and indoors when James Evans calls, others are not so lucky. Coldest Nights Women's Shelter is in need of the following items: Socks, gloves, individually wrapped snacks (something easy to chew is best because of dental issues), powdered hot chocolate and cider packets, chapstick, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bottled water, combs, brushes, pony tail holders, individual tissue packs, individual shampoo and conditioner bottles, single-use soap. Bring your donations to Magistra Henson in room 225. She has candy.
Today is the last day that Middle School Student Council will be selling Candygrams during lunches A and B. Purchase one for your special friend for just one dollar. Your message and the candy will be delivered on Valentine's Day.
Current juniors (rising seniors): It's time for you to choose your classes for your senior year! Check your school email for instructions and a link to sign up for an appointment. We will begin Monday, Feb. 6 and finish Friday, Feb. 17. Please go ahead and make your appointment and don't wait to be called from class when it's time. Simply come to Guidance a few minutes before your scheduled time.
If you are taking the ACT this Saturday, Feb. 11, please remember you MUST have your photo ID or signed ID form (completed beforehand) or you will NOT be admitted to the test. Doors open at CMS around 7:30. Also, remember to bring your admission ticket. See your counselor for questions.
