Attention high school students! Do you like to create, design, and bring those creations to life? Maybe you have always been interested in theatre, but the idea of performing hinders you from participating in a course or production. Well, listen to this! Next year there will be a high school technical theatre course offered for any student in grades 9-12. There is no pre-requisite to sign up. In this class we will go over set and costume design and construction, lighting design, publicity/marketing, a business career in theatre, and more! Ask your guidance counselor about more information and how to sign up in your meeting for scheduling next year’s classes. You can also see Mrs. Sweet with any questions!

If you need to take a test to earn the Seal of Biliteracy, please see Ms. Dixon's website to register for an exam.  The test will be administered on campus Thursday, Feb. 23rd during the school day.

It's cold outside and while we get to be warm and indoors when James Evans calls, others are not so lucky.  Coldest Nights Women's Shelter is in need of the following items: Socks, gloves, individually wrapped snacks (something easy to chew is best because of dental issues), powdered hot chocolate and cider packets, chapstick, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bottled water, combs, brushes, ponytail holders, individual tissue packs, individual shampoo and conditioner bottles, single-use soap.  Bring your donations to Magistra Henson in room 225.  She has candy.

Young Life meets tonight! It's Valentine’s club so wear red or pink! Be there at 7:57 at 1515 Greenland Dr.! Don't miss the best night of the week!!!

Belmont admissions office is hosting a Coffee & Chat opportunity on Feb 20 in Murfreesboro.  Anyone interested in attending, see the link on the Guidance College page to sign up.
