Congratulations to the Central Robotics team for a good showing this past weekend at the Tennessee FIRST Robotics Tech Challenge. The team won the community outreach award. This award is given to the team that does the most to promote STEM within their community. Rachel Oppmann also received the Dean's List award for Tennessee and is now a finalist for the National Dean's list award. The students who earn FIRST Dean’s List are great examples of student leaders who have led their teams and communities to increased awareness for FIRST and its mission while achieving personal technical expertise and accomplishment. The Robotics team will travel to Huntsville, Alabama in 2 weeks to compete in the Alabama Region Championships. Wish them luck as they prepare for that competition.
Sophomores, please check your school email for information about scheduling. You must make an appointment with your counselor and the link has been emailed to you.
