The Central Magnet Annual Art Show will open this Friday (March 3rd) from 5:30-7:30 in college corner.  It is free to attend. Come out and see all the talent our art students have on show! 

SNHS is hosting Mr. Horton to talk about subatomic particle physics on March 1st. This event will take place during CT in the Senior Cafeteria. This is open to anyone, but club members can earn one point for attendance and one point for bringing snacks or refreshments. We hope to see you there to learn about the small things. 

Juniors and Seniors, don’t forget to enter your promposal for the chance to win prom tickets, after-prom tickets, or a gift card.  Submissions start February 27th and end on March 10th. 

This is a reminder that students going on the BSU field trip rescheduled for March 1st will meet in the senior cafeteria at 8:10 tomorrow.  If you haven't received an email reminder, please see Ms. Taylor to make sure she has your permission form and has you on the list.  Please wear your BSU t-shirt and be ready for a great day in celebration of Black excellence. 

This week is the deadline to pay for AP Macro, AP Micro or AP Gov exams for this semester.  Make payments in the attendance office. 

PROM TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE! For the first two weeks, there is a discount of $10 to make each ticket $60! Tickets will be sold online (See Prom website) OR in C/D lunches in the cafeteria. Reminder that even if you purchase online, you MUST come by the table at lunch to pick up your physical tickets! See Mrs. Pinson or Mrs. Svarda with any questions! 

Seniors- please turn in your permission form to Dr. Guthrie for the field trip.  Your permission form, your notarized form and your money is due by April 5th. If you need a form, please check with your English teacher. 

High School Cheer will sell Smoothies at all 4 lunches on Friday. 

The Lady Tigers defeated Greenbrier last night 56-31 and will be making consecutive trips to the Region Finals. They also improved their record to 29-4 overall.  Addison Melton led the way with 23pts, Olivia Hart added 18pts, Bethany Jackson chipped in 9pts and Reese Carlisle, Reilly McMillian and Julia Stuible each added 2pts. The lady tigers will play in the Region Championship Wednesday night at 7pm at Liberty Creek High School in Gallatin. Please come out and support the lady tigers! 

The high school spring musical The Sound of Music opens next Thursday, March 2nd! Performances are March 2, 3, 4 @ 7:00pm and March 5 @ 5:00pm. Tickets for students are $5, adults $10. You can purchase tickets online ahead of time by scanning the QR code on any of the posters you see hanging around the school. You may also purchase tickets at the door. Cash or check only. Come out and support the CMS theatre department and enjoy a timeless classic!
