The Central Magnet Annual Art Show will open this Friday (March 3rd) from 5:30-7:30 in college corner. It is free to attend. Come out and see all the talent our art students have on show!
Attention 6th graders- if you are interested in competing in the 6th grade spelling bee, please fill out the form on Mrs. Stanley's website. The interest form will cut off on Friday, March 3rd at 3pm. If you do not fill out the form, you cannot compete.
SNHS is hosting Mr. Horton to talk about subatomic particle physics on March 1st. This event will take place during CT in the Senior Cafeteria. This is open to anyone, but club members can earn one point for attendance and one point for bringing snacks or refreshments. We hope to see you there to learn about the small things.

The Central Magnet Men's Basketball team took another step into the post season and advanced to the Region 5AAA Championship game with a 47-43 victory over the Hillwood Hilltoppers last night. The Tigers were led in scoring by Will Becker with 15 points and 8 rebounds, Mason Brown with 11 points, Jake Maddox with 8 points, Carson Wood with 7 points and Alex Perry chipped in 4 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers will take on the Martin Luther King Royals at 7:00 pm on Thursday night in the Region Championship.
The win also puts the Tigers in the Sectional game on Monday night playing either South Gibson or Chester County.
The high school spring musical The Sound of Music opens next Thursday, March 2nd! Performances are March 2, 3, 4 @ 7:00pm and March 5 @ 5:00pm. Tickets for students are $5, adults $10. You can purchase tickets online ahead of time by scanning the QR code on any of the posters you see hanging around the school. You may also purchase tickets at the door. Cash or check only. Come out and support the CMS theatre department and enjoy a timeless classic!
