Juniors, please remember in order to be excused to leave after the ACT on March 7th we must receive the signed permission form in attendance. Please know we will not be able to accept phone calls, emails and texts the day of the ACT.
Tiger Time math tutoring will be closed on Tuesday (ACT day). We will be administering the ACT in that room.
The robotics team competed in Huntsville, AL this weekend at the FIRST Robotics FTC Alabama State Championships. The team finished in the runner up position for the robotics game and won first place in the Motivate award and the Promote video award.

The Middle School Softball team is looking for a student manager. This position will run the PA system during home game days at McKnight Park. Line-up announcements start at 4:25 pm. Please see Coach O'Hara in the gymnasium if you are interested!
The Central Magnet Men's basketball team was defeated 57-43 in the Region Championship on Thursday night by the MLK Royals.
The Tigers were led by Jake Maddox with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Owen Zubkus with 9 points and Alex Perry with 6 points and 9 rebounds.
The Tigers return to action tonight as they travel to Chester County High School in West Tennessee to play in the Sectional qualifier and the opportunity to make the State Tournament next week.

The Lady Tigers season came to an end last Saturday as they fell to Jackson South Side 60-37. The tigers were led in scoring by Olivia Hart with 10pts and 13reb, Addison Melton also had 10pts, Reilly McMillan contributed 9pts, Bethany Jackson added 6pts and Reese Carlisle finished with 2pts. The lady tigers would like to thank the faculty and student body for all their support this season. The lady tigers finished the season with a 29-6 record, LIS tournament champions and back-to-back 10AAA District Championships. The lady tigers' seniors Reese Carlisle, Reagan Creasy and Olivia Hart poured their hearts into this program and will be missed more than they will ever know!
