Any 9th - 11th grader interested in running for Student Council needs to attend a mandatory meeting in the library this Friday, April 14th. Meetings will be held during B, C, and D lunches. You must attend a meeting in order to run for a position. If you know you will be absent on Friday, contact Dr. Hines before the meeting.
Science National Honors society has extended the deadline for applications for new members for next school year. Applicants must be a rising Junior or Senior. The applications can be found on the SNHS website and must be submitted by Friday 14th. If you want to be considered for an Officer position, you must fill out a separate application that is also due April 14th. Officer positions are open to any existing and applying new members. Please see Mr. Bonanno with any questions.

HS Cheer will sell smoothies at lunch on Friday for $6.
The middle school soccer team defeated Thurman Francis yesterday by a score of 6-0. Kai Jones scored 3 goals for the team along with goals from Wesley Shamburger, Dal Lamkai, and Zach Dial.
The JV team also won with a score of 3-0. Scoring goals for the team were Lucas Ye, Adrian Meho, and Landon Mulraine. The team travels to Oakland Middle on Thursday to take on the Chargers. Game time is 4:30pm.
The high school men's soccer team traveled to Lawrence Co. last night and left with a 0-0 tie. The boys held the ball well and had plenty of shots but couldn't find a way past the Lawrence Co. keeper. The JV fared much better with a 4-0 win. Hau Lamkai and Ty Yoders both scored two goals each.
The high school softball team picked up a 13-8 win over hume-Fogg on Tuesday. The lady tiger offense put together 12 total hits. Megan Weber was 3 for 3 with a walk and 2 rbi. Senior Reese Carlisle had 4 rbi and 2 doubles. Gracee Carmichael and Payton Nicholson each added multiple hits. Central will return to action on Thursday night when they host Tullahoma for a varsity JV doubleheader. this will also be our teacher appreciation night, and they would like to invite all teachers out for special recognition.
