High Schoolers - the lists of students who earned Principal's List and Honor Roll for Quarters 1 - 3 are hanging on the auditorium doors.  Please check these lists.  If you think there is an error, please email Dr. Hines as soon as possible.   As a reminder, Principal's List is students who earned All A's for Quarters 1, 2, and 3.  The Honor Roll list is of students who earned A's and B's for Quarters 1, 2, and 3.   

The library will be closed today from 12:20-1:10. Please make plans to print and check out before or after C and D lunches. 

Junior Field trip permission forms have been distributed through English classes. Please turn in money and forms to Dr. Guthrie no later than May 17th. 

Tiger Time Math Lab will be closed today and Monday. 

Young Life club will meet at 1515 Greenland Drive this Monday, May 1 at 7:57 PM. All 8th graders are welcome to attend! Please see Ms. Hale if you have any questions. We hope to see you there! 

Attention rising 8th and 12th grade students. We are searching for new mentors for the 2023-2024 school year. 8th grade students will mentor 6th grade students and seniors will mentor 9th grade students. Mentors are in good academic and behavior standing here at Central Magnet. Our mentors are model students. If you are interested in being a mentor next year, please visit the mentoring website and complete the form expressing your interest. Stop by to see Mr. Nichols if you have any questions. 

Attention students: If you volunteered at the Rutherford County College Fair on April 13 and are missing a pair of sunglasses, please come to Guidance to let one of the counselors know.  

High School Students:  AP testing begins Monday May 1.  Check with your teacher for the location and time of your test.  Please arrive to your test location 10 minutes before the exam begins.   

The high school theatre one acts are Friday, April 28 @ 6pm in our CMS auditorium. Our senior, theatre 4 students have been working hard all year to write and direct their own original one act plays that are cast from our other high school theatre students. Please make sure to come out and see this one-time performance! Admission is FREE. Hope to see you there!! 

HS Cheer will sell Smoothie King on Friday.  It will be our last day of sales for this year.  Come by and show your support. 

The MS Softball team has advanced to the area tournament after winning against Legacy Wednesday afternoon and coming in third in the Class A Area 15 district tournament.  

6th grade ace pitcher, Emalyn Rein, only allowed 7 hits and left a batter looking at the third strike. She also hit a standing triple. 7th-grade shortstop, Sophia Croasdaile, went 4 for 4 at bat and gathered 5 RBIs.  

Only 16 out of 64 MS SB teams qualify for the area tournament. This is the first time in program history the tigers will advance. The lady tigers will represent Area 15 as the third seed. They play at Summertown MS tonight at 5 pm. Good luck MS SB!  

If you are interested in trying out for middle school volleyball, please see Mrs. Hendrixson in room 345 to pick up an information sheet before May 12th. Tryouts will be held on May 30th at 9:30am in the gym. 

The high school soccer team defeated Dekalb Co. 2-1 last night.  Will Kassebaum led the way with a brace in the match.  Landon Scraggins had an assist and Clay Thompson drew a Penalty kick.  The team moves to 7-4-2 on the season and will wrap up the regular season next Tuesday with senior night vs. Stem Prep.
