Junior Field trip permission forms have been distributed through English classes. Please turn in money and forms to Dr. Guthrie no later than May 17th. 

*Mandatory* Parent meeting for girls’ high school soccer Tuesday, May 23rd at 6pm in the cafeteria. 

Come out tonight at 5pm for the HS Soccer District Championship.  The boys will play Giles for the title.  All District awards will follow the match.  Cost to attend in $5. 

Congratulations to the girls’ tennis team as they advance to the sectionals next week after their 4-0 defeat of Lincoln County high school to become regional champions yesterday.  

The high school softball team opened up district tournament play with a 20-0 win over Martin Luther King Jr. high school on Wednesday night. The lady Tigers, then beat number two seed Hume Fogg to punch a ticket to the regional tournament for the second year in a row Jacey Goetzinger completed seven innings, striking out 10 and only allowing three hits and giving up zero earned runs. Junior Gracie Carmichael was 4/5 on the night driving in three runs. Sophomore Bethany Jackson finished the night for for seven with five RBI and a double. The Lady Tigers will defend their district crown when they play in the district championship game on Friday night.  

Students, try out for the high school cross country team! Ladies and gents from all high school grade levels are welcome! Tryouts are May 26th at 10:30 a.m. and May 30th at 7:30 a.m. Meet at the high school drop-off zone. To try out, you must have a sports physical form dated after 4/15/22 loaded in Final Forms.
