Tiger Time Math Tutoring starts this week. You may come to room 133 for any lunch during 6th period. Sign up using the QR code on the flyers in your math class or around the school.
National English Honor Society Members - Remember that today is induction during Central Time. You need to check in with your CT teacher and the immediately report to the auditorium. Please double check your school email for more specific information.
HS Beta will be meeting during B rotation. Anyone who is interested in joining Beta should attend. Current members must attend -- we will be discussing convention and service opportunities for the year.
If you would like to join HOSA this year, dues are $30 to cover HOSA member fees and a club t-shirt. Dues can be paid in cash or with a check made out to Central Magnet HOSA and must be submitted by September 1st to Mrs. Harrison or Mrs. Hendrixson in the annex. Remember, you must have completed and selected YES on the opt-in form prior to submitting these dues to be a HOSA member. Please see Mrs. Harrison or Mrs. Hendrixson with any questions!
DECA will meet during Rotation B in the Senior cafeteria. Dues are $50 which includes state and national dues, t-shirt and activity fee. Please see Ms. Crawley-Harrison in Room 210 for additional information.
High School Students - Friday, August 18 we begin signing up for the PSAT Test! The test will be given during the school day on Wednesday, October 11. The cost to sign up is $18 and you can pay in attendance. You may also pay online but there will be a service charge bringing your cost to $19. You may sign up from August 18-September 1. If you have any questions about the PSAT, see your guidance counselor, attendance, or Mrs. Huffman.
Middle School students! Auditions for Frozen Jr are on Wednesday, August 30. Please make sure to sign up for a vocal audition slot using the hyperlink on Mrs. Sweet's website. You will also find the audition packet with all information regarding auditions and what to expect. Please read it carefully. Audition song cuts and audition forms are printed and available outside Mrs. Sweet's room in the annex room 344. Please make sure to bring your audition form completed with you to the audition.
A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Emergency supply kits can help you be prepared. Items to keep in your emergency kit include a flashlight, batteries, first aid kit, whistle, phone lists, paper, pencil, water, and non-perishable snacks.
Attention Seniors: The Dollywood field trip is September 22. Please get permission forms from your English Teacher. The notarized form and your money is due to Dr. Guthrie no later than September 13th.

Your tiger volleyball team moved to 3-0 in district play with a win Tuesday night over Giles County, 3 to 0. The Lady Tigers were led by Senior Emma Grace Smith with 21 aces. Sophomore, Margo Ihrie added six aces, 2 digs and 2 assists. The JV team also picked up a two to nothing Victory. Both teams will return to action on Thursday night with a trip to community high school.
