Tiger Time will be hosting math professor Dr. Ye from MTSU this school year starting this Friday. Come during any lunch, 6th period on Friday to receive math enrichment.
The Psychology National Honor Society, Psi Alpha, will be accepting officer and membership applications. Officer Applications are Due by Sept. 1st and membership applications are due by Sept.22nd. You can find the membership requirements and information on the Psi Alpha webpage. We will have a brief informational meeting if you would like to attend next Wednesday, 3-3:30 in room 338. High School Students – You can now sign up for the PSAT Test! The test will be given during the school day on Wednesday, October 11. The cost to sign up is $18 and you can pay in attendance. You may also pay online but there will be a service charge bringing your cost to $19. You may sign up from August 18-September 1. If you have any questions about the PSAT, see your guidance counselor, attendance, or Mrs. Huffman.
The last day to drop a class to honors or to drop an elective for a study hall is this Friday, September 1. Please pick up a schedule change form outside of Guidance if needed.
Middle School students! Auditions for Frozen Jr are on Wednesday, August 30. Please make sure to sign up for a vocal audition slot using the hyperlink on Mrs. Sweet's website. You will also find the audition packet with all information regarding auditions and what to expect. Please read it carefully. Audition song cuts and audition forms are printed and available outside Mrs. Sweet's room in the annex room 344. Please make sure to bring your audition form completed with you to the audition.

Middle school tennis boys and girls won their first match against Stewart’s Creek yesterday. Congratulations on a great start to the season. They play Oakland Thursday at 4pm.

Our Central Magnet Lady Tigers soccer team DOMINATED against the Lawrence County Wild Cats last night with a final score of 9 to 0. Reily Gusman scored the first 2 goals with assists by Josie Bush on both, Claudia Mitchell scored the third goal with an assist by Josie Bush. Josie Bush then scored the fourth goal of the night with an assist by Reily Gusman and McKayla Nolan. The fifth goal was scored by Julia Ann Hamilton assisted by Maddie Degnan and Harper Guthrie. Breanna Gonzalez scored the sixth goal of the evening with an assist by Maddie Degnan. Julia Ann came in again with our seventh goal with an assist by Maddie Degnan. In the second half of the match, Maddie Degnan scored the eighth goal with an assist by Reily Gusman. Reily then scored the ninth goal of the night with an assist by Claudia Mitchell.
The Lady Tiger Golf team beat Blackman yesterday with Ellie Schmackle firing an 86 and Ayaka Shiomitsu an 89. Owen Zubkus shot a 75 for the boys team.
