College Corner this week will host UT Knoxville, UTK's Haslam College of Business, UTK's Tickle College of Engineering, as well as Maryville College. Stop by and see them today during C/D lunch.
If you are taking the ACT at Central on Saturday, Sept. 9, please leave in plenty of time as there will be a race taking place near the school. Doors open at 7:30 and the exam will promptly start at 8:00. If you encounter a blocked road on your way, let the police officer know you are taking the ACT and he/she will let you through. Please also make sure you bring a valid picture ID and your admission ticket. You will NOT be admitted without an ID.
Attention Seniors: The Dollywood field trip is September 22. Please get permission forms from your English Teacher. The notarized form and your money is due to Dr. Guthrie no later than September 13th.

The Central Magnet High School Cross Country team had another great race this past weekend at the Turn the Page Invite in Nashville, Tennessee. Central's top three runners in Girls' Varsity were Catherine Zubkus, Ashtyn Patterson, and Zayleigh Anderson. Our top three runners in Boys' Varsity were Carson Phillips, Aaden Walker, and Nate Dyer. The top three runners in Boys' JV were Collier Pawlowski, Grant McKay, and Paden Bontrager. This coming Saturday the team will compete in the Voyles Classic in Hermitage, TN, and would love to see you come out to cheer them on!
Your CMS Trap Team won the September tournament, with a combined score of 492 of 500. Beck Stanley was the Overall Champion , with the CMS Trap Team of Beck Stanley, Brennan Martin, Jean Drugman, Bryce Martin and Seth Nobles taking the 5 highest individual scores and adding two division champions, for a dominate weekend performance.
High School Baseball team will meet in room 228 on Wednesday, September the 6th. The meeting will last until 4:30. Bring gloves and conditioning clothes.
