he PSAT is Wednesday for 9th-11th grade students that registered. If you are taking the PSAT and have a school issued laptop, please bring it with you FULLY CHARGED to the test Wednesday.

Congratulations to the Central Magnet High School Cross Country team on another fantastic showing at the Jesse Owens Classic in Oakville, AL, this past weekend! We had 21 personal records and 2 season bests. The top three Central Magnet runners for the boys were Vinny Peck, Ty Brown, and Henry Nance. The top three Central Magnet runners for the girls were Catherine Zubkus, Emily Bush, and Anna Niedzielski. Blake Nutter finished 10th in the boys' JV race. Go Tigers!
The high school volleyball team won the district tournament last Tuesday evening. This was the first volleyball district tournament win in school history. Central had earned the number one seed. And after a bye defeated Marshall County, three to nothing on Monday night, and won the championship 3 to 1 against community.
Seniors Grace Martindale, Noella Obi, and Emma Grace Smith along with sophomore Maddie Porter were named to the district 8-AA all-tournament team.
The Tigers will travel to Upperman high school on Tuesday for the regional tournament. They will take on stone memorial at 4 o’clock for a chance to advance to the finals, which will also be played Tuesday evening.
