Juniors & Seniors - Do you need help with your resume as you apply for jobs, scholarships, and colleges? Come to the National English Honor Society Resume Workshop in the Senior Cafeteria during CT on October 23rd and October 25th. Monday, October 23rd will be an info session where we discuss formatting, structure, resources, and information to include. Wednesday, October 25th will be a work session where you can sit down with peers and receive feedback or help with your resume. If you are interested, you MUST sign up in Flex in order to attend. NEHS members that attend both the info and work session will receive a service point.
HOSA will be selling Halloween Candy Grams starting today and running through next Wednesday in the cafeteria. Each candy gram is $1 and will be delivered to the person of your choosing on Halloween during their 6th period class! Stop by the table to purchase one anytime during A through D lunch and support HOSA!
The Ocean and Lake Conservation club will hold its FIRST meeting next week during C rotation in room 132. If water conservation interests you, please see Mr. J. Burns in room 132 for the opt in form.
The International Thespian Society, known as the theatre club at CMS, is putting on its annual Haunted House next weekend. The haunted house will be the entire length of the annex building that leads out into the courtyard for a bake sale and various fall activities. The date and time are October 27 and 28th from 7-9pm and October 29 from 6-8pm. Admission is $7 and is good for three times through the haunted house. This event was such a hit last year and is sure to be an even bigger this year!
Crochet and Knitting are back at CMS! The Crochet club will meet after school. The first meeting is Thursday, October 26. The meeting will be hosted by Mrs. Taylor in Room 222. You must bring a signed Opt-In form with you to participate. Bring your favorite yarn, your crochet or knitting needles and join us for an afternoon of creativity with yarn from 3:15 to 4:30. The middle school musical Frozen Jr is this weekend! Performances are October 20 @ 7pm; October 21st has two performances: 4pm and 7pm. Sunday matinee performance at 5:00pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children 5 and under are free. Tickets are sold at the door, or you can purchase some online by scanning the QR code on the posters you see throughout the school. Make sure to come out and support the theatre department!
The High School Boys and Girls basketball teams will be selling discounted student season tickets for this upcoming season! Tickets will be $25 for students. This is a savings of $38. If you would like to purchase a season ticket, please see Coach Bush or Coach Worsley.
Seniors, don't forget that Monday is the last day to submit your senior quote for the yearbook. You can access the Form for submission on Ms. Quinn's webpage. Again, this Monday is the last day for seniors to submit senior quotes. If you don't submit, your quote will be "Always my best."
