DECA members will be selling World's Finest Chocolate candy bars on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week for our in-school sale. Each bar costs just $1. Please help support us for our upcoming conferences. The candy bars make great stocking stuffers for Christmas!!

DECA is sponsoring a Middle School Dance on Friday, December 1, 2023. Time is 6:00 p.m-8:00 p.m.

Admission is $10.00 and tickets will be sold at the door. Theme is Frozen.  DJ Corban is making his rounds again! Balloon backdrop to take pictures. Concessions will be sold as well.

Hear ye! Hear ye!  Calling all students with talent!  The annual Central Magnet Variety Show will be on Friday, January 12th.   To audition, please submit a video of your act to the FlipGrid using the link on the Central Magnet website (https://flip.com/767e0704).  You will also need to complete the Microsoft Form that is linked in the FlipGrid.  Auditions are due by December 8th.  All accompanying tracks are due by December 15th.  If you have any questions, reach out to Mr. Click, Mr. Mears, or Dr. Hines.

Tenth and Eleventh graders, if you are interested in applying to Governor's School, please remember you must let your counselor know and send her a resume ASAP. The Arts, Business, and Biological and Statistical Sciences are all due no later than Dec. 1. Please see your counselor if you have questions.

Calling all actors, singers who dance and dancers who sing!!! Audition packets for the high school musical Legally Blonde are now available on Mrs. Sweet's and Mr. Germany's websites. Please read the entire packet carefully. Audition information will also be posted on the call board outside of Mrs. Sweet's room in the annex. Vocal and dance auditions are Monday, December 4th after school until 6pm. You must sign up for a vocal audition slot using the sign-up link in the packet. Callbacks will be after school on Tuesday, December 5. If you have a conflict with audition or callback day, please see Mrs. Sweet about making necessary arrangements. Any high school student in the school can audition. This is a fun high energy show that could use all the talent we have at CMS, so if you are on the fence, you should definitely go for it! Mrs. Sweet and Mr. Germany hope to see you at auditions!

Seniors, the deadline to purchase and design a senior ad is this Friday, November 17th. Please remind your parents that if they are interested in purchasing a senior ad, the deadline is this Friday.

HS Cheer will sell Smoothies for $6 at all 4 lunches this week. 

The Lady Tigers kicked off the season last night with big win over White House 52-33. The Lady Tigers was led in scoring by Addison Melton with 29pts including 7 three-pointers. Bethany Jackson finished with 10pts, Madisen Stanley chipped in 6 pts, Reilly McMillian with 4pts and Ella Kate Harris finished with 3 pts. The Lady Tigers will be back in action this Saturday at Coffee Co. HS

The Central Magnet Men's basketball team opened their season last night with a 68-52 loss to the White House Blue Devils. The Tigers were led by Mason Brown with 17 points and Jake Maddox with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Owen Zubkus, Carson Wood, and Alijah Dean all chipped in 7 points each.

The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Coffee County to take on the Raiders at 12:30 pm.
