Attention All Students: We will have Reading Rooms available during Friday’s Homecoming Day activities for students who prefer to spend their day in a quieter atmosphere, away from the noise and crowds. To be in a Reading Room, just sign up in advance in Flex. If you need help with the process, just see Ms. Dixon. Keep in mind that with the exception of going to the restroom, students who sign up for a Reading Room are to remain there until the next activity.

Writing Lab tutors help other students at Central Magnet with a variety of writing assignments throughout the school year. If you're interested in adding this elective to your schedule, see your English teacher or Mrs. Eubanks in room 104 to get an application!

National English Honor Society is now accepting applications from rising juniors and seniors for membership for the 2024-2025 school year. Please see Mrs. Eubanks in room 104 or Mrs. Nau in room 106 with any questions. Applications are completely electronic, and you can scan the QR code on the flyers in your English classes, or access the application on the Central NEHS website.
Stones River Antique Car Club is once again needing Central Magnet School high school students to earn service hours by helping with the Stones River Region, Antique Automobile Club of America Swap meet on Saturday February 3rd and Sunday February 4th at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville.

The Lady Tigers got their 12th win of the season and their 1st district win last night defeating Franklin Co. 47-35. The lady tigers were led in scoring by Addison Melton with a career high 34 points, Bethany Jackson added 8pts and Madisen Stanley pitched in 5pts. The lady tigers will try to make it 2-0 in the district when they battle Tullahoma here Friday night for homecoming.
Tuesday night the high school boys basketball team defeated Franklin County in our first district matchup of the year. Final score was 55-39. Mason Brown led all scorers with 22 points including 4 three pointers, Owen Zubkus added 14, and Jake Maddox had 10 points and 9 rebounds. Our next district for comes in town Friday night as we face Tullahoma for Homecoming.
