Congratulations to the Magnetude Robotics team for their performance this past weekend. The team traveled to Johnson City for the Robot Drone League Championships and took home several awards. The team won the Top Score award, Autonomous Award, Division 1 Champion Award, and the overall Champion Award. This is the second year in a row that the team has won the championship.
All interested high school students - freshmen through seniors - are welcome to take the Seal of Biliteracy exam here on campus Tuesday, February 27th. Please see Mrs. Dixon to register and pay for the test.
Attention all Seniors - If you are planning to graduate with the Seal of Biliteracy, there is still MANDATORY paperwork to complete. Please attend Ms. Dixon's paperwork meeting Wed. Jan. 31st @ 3:15 so you can walk the line with your deserved recognition.
DECA will host a Middle School Dance on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the CMS Cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.00 per student. Concessions will be available as well. DJ Corban will provide the music and Balloon Company by Lo will have a photo backdrop for students to take pictures.
All HOSA members that will be attending state can turn in state convention payments to Mrs. Hendrixson or Mrs. Harrison at any time. Payments are due by this Friday afternoon, so please don't miss this deadline. Congratulations to Lucas Ye for winning the CMS MATHCOUNTS competition held last Friday. Richie Gong and Owen Huang finished second and third. They and seven other middle school students will compete in the MATHCOUNTS chapter competition in Nashville, February 10.
