Registration for the ACT Boot Camp has opened! The Boot Camp is designed to help students reach and exceed composite score goal of 25 on the ACT. Registration for the 240 spots is open to all high school students, but priority will be given to our juniors in preparation for the state ACT on March 12.
No! This is not just like every ACT review you've had. Our instructors have attended training sessions to help you learn some different strategies for attacking the test.

DECA will host a Middle School Dance on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the CMS Cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.00 per student. Concessions will be available as well. DJ Corban will provide the music and Balloon Company by Lo will have a photo backdrop for students to take pictures.

The high school JV boys defeated Moore County last night 52-37 to improve to 11-8 on the season. The Tigers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Everett Smith led the scoring attack with 14 points and Hollis Jackson followed with 11. Eight other Tigers scored on the night including Connor Ward, Owen Butler, Benson Reavis, Kai Jones, Tate Morris, Matias Carmona, Carter Sage, and Paden Bontrager. You have two more chances to catch the team in action this year - tonight at 4:15 and Thursday at the same time.
The lady tigers won a big non-district game last night over Moore Co. 47-25. The lady tigers defense played outstanding. Addison Melton led all scorer's with 25pts, Bethany Jackson added 13pts, Madisen Stanley chipped in 4pts, Clara Johnson had 3pts and Reagan Brand finished with 2pts. The lady tigers will be back in action tonight vs district foe Giles Co. here at Central at 6pm. Please come out and join us while we honor our two seniors!
The Central Magnet Tigers defeated the Moore County Raiders last night by a score of 72-29.
The Tigers were led by Mason Brown with 19 points, Jake Maddox added 13 points and 9 rebounds, and Garrett Florida chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds.
The Tigers hit 9 3 pointers as a team.
The Tigers will return to district action tonight when they host Giles County. Tonight is also Senior night with the recognition of the seniors being between the girls’ and boys’ varsity games.
