The junior class will be taking the ACT at school on Tuesday, March 12th. You may leave after the test as long as you have PRIOR parental permission. Your English teachers will be distributing the permission form. They will also be available in the attendance office and on the website. Please turn in these forms to your English teacher by Monday the 11th. We are unable to take phone calls or texts the day of the test.
Happy Music in Schools Month! Tri-M Music Honor Society will be selling music Grams during lunch starting Monday March 11. You simply write the name of the person you want to send it to and their sixth period on the provided card with the name of a song that reminds you of them. It only costs one dollar! If you would like a customizable one with a lyric from the song and an album cover on it that will be five dollars and you can also order them at the table during lunch. Remember to keep it school appropriate.
Anime Club is planning a field trip to the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention on March 30th! If you are interested in joining, please stop by Ms. Andrews's room Rm 114 to pick up a permission slip. Remember, only club members who have paid their club dues can attend. The cost to attend is $50 for the all-day Saturday pass + money for lunch. We will leave Saturday at 7:30 AM and return Saturday at 7:30 PM. Please turn in all fieldtrip funds and money by March 15th.
Middle School: permission forms for capture the flag are due this Friday. Team members will be chosen in the order in which forms are received. See your science teacher or the student council website for a form.

Anime Club is excited to announce its first Naruto (Nah-rue-toe) run this spring during Pig-Out. There will be one race for 6th-8th graders and one for 9th-12th graders. The cost to enter the race is $2. The first-place winner of each race will receive a $20 Amazon gift card. 2nd and 3rd place winners will get to choose one item from the club's anime loot, such as anime t-shirts, headbands, jewelry, and more. Please stop by Ms. Andrews's room (Rm 114) to pick up a permission form. All permission slips and money are due by Friday, March 15th.

After Prom tickets for Juniors, Seniors, and their guests are available online and now IN PERSON Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during C & D lunch now through Pig Out. Tickets are $25 each.

Any rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grader interested in trying out for Middle School cheer for the 24-25 school year, may see Mrs. Burns' room (225) to pick up an information packet. Packets will also be available at the Middle School open house on Tuesday March 12th. The interest meeting will be held on March 18th at 630 in the Senior Cafeteria. A parent and athlete must attend in order to tryout.
Today is opening day for the Tiger High School Baseball team. They will play Shelbyville at home starting at 6:00. Both teams were one win short of a State Tournament appearance in 2023 and both teams have a large number of returnees. Students get in free.
The middle school baseball Tigers improved to 2 and 0 Friday night with a hard fought win over MTCS 9 to 6. Braylon Dowell lead the Tigers again going 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, Brayden Yates and Kason Puffer chipped in both going 2 for 3 on the night.
Braylon Dowell got the win on the mound in relief of starter Brady Moore.
The Tigers play LaVergne this afternoon at LaVergne middle school.
The high school soccer team opened their season Friday night with a 4-2 loss to Nolensville HS. Landon Scraggins had both goals on the night.
The JV team fell 2-1 with the goal coming in the form of a PK from Nick Held.
The Varsity will open up at home tomorrow against Independence at 5pm.
