Congratulations to the 39 students who participated in the TMTA High School Math Contest at MTSU yesterday. The following students finished in the top three for their subject:
John Gamble finished 2nd in Algebra 2. CMS took 8 of the top ten spots for pre-calculus with Daehyun Cho finishing 1st, Stephen Wang 2nd, and Anirudh Kodukula 3rd. CMS calculus students, Benjamin Xiao and Jacob Anderson, finished 1 and 2 in their category. Senior, Ethan Wahl, stood out among competitors finishing 2nd in statistics.
If you have not picked up your prom tickets, please see Mrs. Smith in Room 124 TODAY. All students must have a physical ticket to be admitted to prom. Even if you purchased through GoFan, you must still have a physical, paper ticket.
Today and tomorrow are the two last days to register online for After Prom. The cost is $25 for a night (and morning) with friends, full of of Music, Karaoke, Silent Disco, Climbing, Swimming and all the Rec Center Sports, Food, Candy, Chocolate (including MTSU Chocolate Milk), and a chance for prizes all night long. Stay til the end for a chance at a Grand Prize! CMS Juniors and Seniors don't have to go to prom to go to CMAP. Register TODAY using the link on the Prom Information page on the CMS website.
You've heard of March Madness? Now we have ACT Madness! All you have to do is like a video and vote for CMS Latin Club. There are flyers posted around the school with a QR code you can scan! Voting starts Thursday at 12, and if you have any questions, you can contact Elle Cumming, Dexter Trageser, Mason McConnell, or Magistra Henson

If you would like to ensure that you get your own copy of the 2024 yearbook and are not waitlisted, you can order online using the information on the CMS homepage while supplies last. The Central Magnet Tigers High School baseball team is ranked 6th in the latest AAA State baseball poll. They return to action today with a 4:00 district game at Lawrence Co.
