Online registration is now closed for After Prom. Walk-up registrations are allowed at the door for CMS Juniors and Seniors only. You must bring a signed CMAP Consent Form and a photo ID to register in person. Information and forms are available at the CMAP registration link on the Prom Information page. Congratulations to the 19 students who participated in the MTSU middle school math competition yesterday. Central placed 1st overall for 6th grade & 3rd overall for 8th grade. Several students also placed in the individual competition. In 6th grade: Anhad Jain (11th), Esther Brodski (5th), Max Co (1st), Jayden Hwang (1st). 7th grade: Viviann Hwang (9th), Max Patel (13th). 8th grade: Mars Parker (10th) Havilynn Burton (7th)

Key club will be selling donuts on Thursday mornings in college corner. Come by and support Key Club.

Students, we currently have a limited number of yearbooks remaining for purchase. If we sell out (as we did last year), we will begin a waitlist. If you would like to ensure that you get your own copy of the 2024 yearbook and are not waitlisted, you can order online using the information on the CMS homepage while supplies last. HS Cheer will sell smoothies on Friday. 

The Middle School Boys Varsity soccer team soundly defeated Rockvale Middle last night by a score of 7-0. Scoring goals for the Tigers were Adrian Meho, Lucas Ye, Caden Gardner, Ross Parkerson, and Jao Vongsavath with the hat trick scoring 3 goals to lead the offensive explosion. The JV team played a tough game and fought to a 0-0 tie. The team plays Rock Springs on Tuesday.

The Central Tigers high school baseball team rallied late to once again pull out an 8-4 win over Smyrna. Carter Long’s two run single out the Tigers up to stay in the top of the 8th. Jake Maddox, John Cook, and Jakob Howard all had 3 hits. Nathan Stewart and Carter Long both had 2 hits. Collin Wind pitched well as the starter. Jackson Foster was terrific out of the bullpen. He threw 2 1/3 shut out innings to pick up his first high school win. Come celebrate the seniors today. Senior Day versus Hume Fogg today at 5:30. Senior recognition will begin at 5:10.

HIgh School Softball lost 15-0 to Lawrence County Thursday night.

The high men's soccer team opened up district play with a dramatic 4-3 come from behind win last night.  The game winning goal came from Jacob Gardner.  Brady Stone rose highest to head in the tying goal.  Other players on the score sheet included Ashton Bryant and Miles Ritter.  There were assists by Landon Scraggins, Wyatt Kelton, and Ty Yoders.  Isaish Phillips had 4 saves in goal.
