Yearbook distribution day is this Thursday, May 2nd, and today is the last day to buy your own copy. The online store closes tonight at 11:59. After today, your only option will be to add your name to the waitlist. Again, if you have not purchased your yearbook, today is the last day to do so. See Ms. Quinn if you have any questions.

Seniors: All library books, laptops, and chargers are due on Monday, April 29 or Tuesday, April 30. Please make a plan to return your laptop and charger when you come to the library with your English class. If for some reason you need your school issued laptop later than the due date, please let the librarians know.

Permission to leave after AP exam forms will be handed out on April 24th. These forms are due to attendance by May 3rd. These forms will allow you to leave after an AP test or come in late prior to an afternoon test. We are unable to accept phone calls and texts. These forms will also be available in the attendance office and on the website.

Join us for the End-of-Year Piano Recital! Come listen to your friends in Piano 1 and 2 show off their skills in our concert! The recital is Thursday, May 2nd at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Admission is free.

The middle school First Priority club is collecting items for the Samaritan's Purse. Small toys, pencils, notepads and hygiene items will be sent to students in need. You can bring your donations to Mrs. Taylor's room or Mrs. Tipton's room April 29th thru May 3rd.

The Junior Class will be taking a field trip to Holiday World on May 22nd! Join in to celebrate the end of the school year, the end of AP Tests, the end of exams, and the beginning of summer! See Mr. Harper in room 128 for more details.

The student directed one act play festival is April 26 and 27! Senior theatre students have been working hard this past year writing and directing and would love for you all to come see a variety of one act plays that range from comedy, drama, murder mystery and more! Performance time for Friday and Saturday is 7pm and the cost is a $5 general admission. You may purchase your ticket ahead of time by going to Gofan or pay cash or check at the door.

The Central Magnet Art Show will take place this Friday from 6-7:30 PM in college corner.  It's free to attend so stop by and see all the amazing artwork produced by Central Students.

It's been a busy week for Tiger tennis. The team traveled to Johnson City last week, with boys and girls coming home one and one each with wins over Science Hill and Tennessee High. JV girls lost in a close match to green hill Monday. Varsity came away from Tuesday’s trip to Chattanooga Christian School with victories, followed by wins against Stone Memorial Wednesday and district rival Siegel yesterday.  They go into team district competition this Monday with a 7-0 record in district play. Please congratulate them on a great season and wish them luck going into the post season!

The high school softball team dropped an 11-1 Decision to Tullahoma on Thursday night. Senior Peyton Nicholson lead the offense going 3 for 3. Bethany Jackson added a triple and a run scored. Senior Jacey Goetzinger returned to the lineup pitching three innings, giving up two earned runs on two hits. The Tigers returned to action tonight at home against CPA and will host senior night on Monday evening starting at 5 PM at McKnight Park. Please make plans to come out and attend!

Central, your Middle School softball team won yesterday, and will be advancing in the tournament. They will play Saturday at 12:00 at Stewarts Creek Middle School against Siegel. Come out and cheer on the girls to victory. Admission is $7.00.
