Permission forms to leave after AP are due to attendance by May 3rd. These forms will allow you to leave after an AP test or come in late prior to an afternoon test. We are unable to accept phone calls and texts. These forms will also be available in the attendance office and on the website.
23 French students from all levels voluntarily participated in the National French Contest earlier this month. 30 % received certificates of merit or honorable mention. 70% came away with medals, including 3 gold , 6 silver, and 7 bronze medals. Congratulations to all of the participating students for their initiative and results. Vive la Revolution !

This Thursday is yearbook distribution day. In the afternoon, we will have 3 food trucks for middle school and 3 food trucks for high school. Please be aware that a few of the parking spaces directly beside the practice soccer field will be blocked off to make room for these trucks. Please do not park in these spaces.
The Board Game Club is back and now meets every Thursday after school in Room 126! Come on by and bring a friend or two because the more people we have the more games we can play!
The middle school First Priority club is collecting items for the Samaritan's Purse. Small toys, pencils, notepads and hygiene items will be sent to students in need. You can bring your donations to Mrs. Taylor's room or Mrs. Tipton's room April 29th thru May 3rd.

The MS Golfers competed at the District tournament yesterday. JianJian Gao qualified for sectionals on May 9th as an individual.
The Women's team of JianJian Gao, Elliott Brisco, and Lilly Broox Carey finished 4th, just missing the cut for sectionals.
The Men's team of Justin Grissom, Jude Austin, Ian Perkey, and Cooper Olson finished 8th.
Tiger tennis advances to the district semifinals today after team wins against Smyrna yesterday. The boys play Rockvale and the girl's face Oakland. Good luck to these teams as they move through the post season.
The high school softball varsity team wrapped up their regular season on Monday night with a 17 to 5 Victory on what was there 2024 senior night. Seniors Gracie Carmichael, Ashley Davis, JC Goetzinger, Savannah Johnson, and Peyton Nicholson were honored before the game, and each chipped in to secure the victory. Goetzinger picked up the win in the circle striking out five. Carmichael Goetzinger, Davis, and Nicholson combined for eight hits and 11 RBI.
District tournament will begin on Thursday night with your Tigers traveling to Lawrence County for a first round matchup.
The JV team will close out their regular season with a matchup this afternoon at Providence Christian Academy. Come out and support.
The Middle School Boys Soccer season ended last night with a tournament loss to Stewarts Creek with a score of 2-0. The JV team season ended on Saturday with a shoot-out loss to Oakland Middle. Johann Hernandez did score a goal for the team in the loss. The team wants to thank everyone who came out and supported the team this season.
