Tomorrow is yearbook distribution day! In the afternoon, we will have 3 food trucks for middle school and 3 food trucks for high school. Please be aware that a few of the parking spaces directly beside the practice soccer field will be blocked off to make room for these trucks. Please do not park in these spaces.
Join us for the End-of-Year Piano Recital! Come listen to your friends in Piano 1 and 2 show off their skills in our concert! The recital is Thursday, May 2nd at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Admission is free.
Permission forms to leave after AP exam have been handed out. They are due to attendance by Friday, May 3rd. These forms will allow you to leave after an AP test or come in late prior to an afternoon test. We are unable to accept phone calls and texts. These forms will also be available in the attendance office and on the website.

The middle school First Priority club is collecting items for the Samaritan's Purse. Small toys, pencils, notepads, and hygiene items will be sent to students in need. You can bring your donations to Mrs. Taylor's room or Mrs. Tipton's room April 29th thru May 3rd.
Attention current 7th and 11th grade students. We are searching for new mentors for the 2024-2025 school year. 8th grade students will mentor 6th grade students and seniors will mentor 9th grade students. Mentors are in good academic and behavior standing here at Central Magnet. Our mentors are model students. Are you a high achieving rising junior or senior? Do you like science? If so, Science National Honors Society applications for next school year have begun, and they will be due Monday, May 13th. If you would like to be an officer for SNHS, applications are also available and open to new applicants and existing members. Please see Mr. Kinney or Mr. Bonanno with any questions.
We expect to have about 30 yearbooks for sale tomorrow. If you would like the opportunity to purchase one of them, you will need to bring $100 (cash or check only) to the auditorium at the beginning of 7th period tomorrow (after checking in with your teacher). Please note that these yearbooks will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will be outside tomorrow afternoon for the yearbook signing. The weather is expected to be great, but it is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures up to 88°. Feel free to bring water, sunscreen, and a blanket if you would like to do so. We will also have drinks for sale at the food trucks.
The Junior Class will be taking a field trip to Holiday World on May 22nd! Join in to celebrate the end of the school year, the end of AP Tests, the end of exams, and the beginning of summer! See Mr. Harper in room 128 for more details.
High school students: AP exams will be May 6-17. Please arrive to your test at least 5 minutes before the test. Leave backpacks and phones in your locker or car. Good luck!
Tiger tennis advances to the district championship final with a rematch against Siegel for both boys and girls tomorrow at 5:30 p m. The individual district tournament starts Thursday, with several players having first round byes. Come out to the ATC to cheer them on.
