Forms to leave after AP exams are due to attendance by tomorrow, May 3rd. These forms will allow you to leave after an AP test or come in late prior to an afternoon test. We are unable to accept phone calls and texts. These forms will also be available in the attendance office and on the website.

9th - 11th graders: All high school library books are due by Friday, May 3. After inventory is complete, any student that would like to check out for the summer needs to fill out the form by scanning the QR code on the library website or the one posted on the library doors.
All school issued laptops and chargers are due on Wednesday, May 8 or Thursday, May 9 for 10th and 11th graders. Please make a plan to return your laptop and charger when you come to the library with your English class. If for some reason you need your school issued laptop later than the due date, please email the librarians to let them know.
Attention all Juniors! The field trip forms for the Holiday World field trip on Wednesday, May 22nd are now available. You can get them from attendance, from Mr. Harper in room 128, or from your English teachers. All forms are due back to Mr. Harper by Wednesday May 15th with NO extensions. The middle school First Priority club is collecting items for the Samaritan's Purse. Small toys, pencils, notepads, and hygiene items will be sent to students in need. You can bring your donations to Mrs. Taylor's room or Mrs. Tipton's room April 29th thru May 3rd.
Attention current 7th and 11th grade students. We are searching for new mentors for the 2024-2025 school year. 8th grade students will mentor 6th grade students and seniors will mentor 9th grade students. Mentors are in good academic and behavior standing here at Central Magnet. Our mentors are model students. Are you a high achieving rising junior or senior? Do you like science? If so, Science National Honors Society applications for next school year have begun, and they will be due Monday, May 13th. If you would like to be an officer for SNHS, applications are also available and open to new applicants and existing members. Please see Mr. Kinney or Mr. Bonanno with any questions.
Today is yearbook distribution day, and there are some things that you may need to know throughout the day.
• If yearbooks are delivered to your classroom but you did not get yours, see Ms. Quinn in the auditorium as soon as possible.
• If your yearbook is delivered to you damaged, see Ms. Quinn in the auditorium as soon as possible.
• The extra yearbooks will be sold today for $100, cash or check only.
• Seniors can purchase yearbooks in the auditorium at any time today except 6th period.
• Anyone else who would like to purchase a yearbook can do so in the auditorium at the beginning of 7th period (after you check in with your teacher). The yearbooks will be sold on a first-come, first, served basis.
• This afternoon, the high school signing will take place on the main soccer field, and the middle school signing will take place at the middle school drop off area.
• If you are a high school student who rides the bus, be sure you put your things in your locker or take them with you when you report to the soccer field. Classroom doors will be locked, and we don’t want you to miss your bus.
High school students: AP exams will be May 6-17. Please arrive to your test at least 5 minutes before the test. Leave backpacks and phones in your locker or car. Good luck!
Tiger tennis boys and girls are district champions! The teams were undefeated in the district, and they are headed to Regionals. This is the tenth year for the girls to be number one in the district. Individual district tournament begins today. Congratulations and good luck to these players.
