Students planning to get their Driver's Permit should pick up their SF1010 form before leaving for summer break. SF1010 forms picked at the end of the school year are good thru out the summer months. Please pick up in the Attendance office. Thank you.

Are you a high achieving rising junior or senior? Do you like science? If so, Science National Honors Society applications for next school year have begun, and they will be due Monday, May 13th. If you would like to be an officer for SNHS, applications are also available and open to new applicants and existing members.  Please see Mr. Kinney or Mr. Bonanno with any questions.

Congratulations to the Central Magnet Chess Team!  The Team consisting of Richie Gong, Aayush Kafle, Colton Lafferty and Connor Reaves finished 5th in its division at the Middle School Nationals in Atlanta.  All our players competed in the Nationals for the first time and scored at least 4.5 points each.  With 5.5 points Richie Gong secured the 14th place overall among 287 players!

The Central middle Track and Field Teams advanced to the sectional meet in Fairview last week. Elizabeth Hamilton and Jayden Williams posted personal records with Jay earning the school record in the 200 meter dash. Both Jay and Elizabeth earned a berth to the State Tournament on Saturday at Austin Peay State University.

Congratulations to JianJian Gao who placed 8th with a +8 (8 over) at the sectionals in Franklin on Thursday.

Congratulations to the High School Tennis teams. Boys came runner up in regionals, and the girls are Region champions! They move on to sectionals this week versus Brentwood, and individual regional matches will be played this Wednesday at Adams Tennis Complex. Good luck Tigers!

Congratulations to the entire CMS high school track team for a great season! We had many athletes compete at sectionals this past week, and three athletes qualified for state: Amaya Warren in the triple jump, Ty Brown in the 3200 meter run, and Vinny Peck in the 800 meter. This team has worked hard all season, and we are proud of their tremendous efforts. Go Tigers!
