All students! Remember to sign up in Flex for a location for RTI time today! If you only see the name of one teacher, that means that they have requested you and you need to report to their room during RTI. If you see options, that means you can sign up for any teacher you have this semester.
Seniors, if you have not scheduled a meeting with your counselor for your senior meeting, please do so today! You should have received an email with a Sign-Up Genius link.

High School students interested in joining HOSA may do so by doing these 2 things:
1. make sure your parents have completed & submitted an approved opt-in form to join HOSA
2. pay the $25 HOSA dues (cash or check payable to CMS HOSA) by Friday, September 6th to Mrs. Harrison in 348 or Mrs. Pittman in 347.
Musical Theatre Club will meet for the first time this year on Friday morning August 30th at 7:30AM. We are meeting in the theatre room in the annex (room 344). Meetings are every other Friday morning. Open to Middle and High School students. Please make sure that you have completed the opt in form BEFORE attending.
The Psychology National Honor Society, Psi Alpha, is now accepting applications. If you are interested in psychology and passed the AP Psychology Exam you are eligible to join. Please come by to see Mr. Cowart before Sept. 5th if you are interested. Our first club meeting is during G Rotation on Sept.9th.
DECA membership is open to all high school students. Membership dues are $50. Meetings are during Rotation D in the senior cafeteria. Please visit the CMS DECA club website for all membership forms. Stop by Room 210 if you have any questions.
HS BETA Club is accepting applications! To be eligible, you must have a 3.5 GPA and complete the application found on the BETA website, which includes needing a teacher recommendation and completion of an essay. All applications need to be turned in to Mrs. SK (Room 116) no later than Friday, September 20th.
Attention students! Are you interested in technology, engineering, programming, and hands-on projects? We’re excited to announce the re-start of the Technology Student Association, also known as TSA! If you want to explore STEM through exciting workshops, international and state competitions, and real-world challenges, join us for an interest meeting next Wednesday after school. This meeting will be in Mr. Guthrie's room. That's room 349 in the annex. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get involved in building innovative solutions and developing skills for the future!

Middle School Varsity volleyball won last night at Smyrna in three sets, 25-22, 20-25, 15-8. Harper Brown had three blocks, Linley LaPointe had three kills, and libero Niang Hon had three digs, with special shoutouts to Lena Cloud and setter Elizabeth Hamilton. Middle School volleyball plays their next match on Wednesday, September 4th VS Siegel. Central students get in free!
Middle school auditions for Annie Jr are next week, Tuesday September 3rd! All middle school students are encouraged to audition regardless of prior theatre experience. Character information and a registration form are available on Ms. Scott's theatre page, and you can stop by the theatre room with any questions. Applications for backstage crew are also available on the theatre page and can be turned in at any time.
