Juniors and Seniors! Do you need help working on your resume? Come to our resume workshop this Friday during RTI to get help from your peers and National English Honor Society members with your resume--be it for scholarships, college admissions, jobs, or internships! Sign up in Flex and bring your laptop. This week will be in Mrs. Eubanks's room (104).
 
H.O.L.A. will be selling Aguas Frescas today and Wednesday during lunch. They are homemade and delicious. You may choose between limonada, jamaica and horchata. Everything is $4.
 
Are you interested in the fields of Architecture, Construction or Engineering, then ACE Club is for you.  We will have our first meeting on Wednesday, September 18th in Room 131 beginning at 3:30 to 5:00.  Please be sure you have opted-in to ACE Club.  Please see Mr. Bonanno with any questions.
 
HS BETA members! HS BETA is collecting gift cards and school supplies for families in need! We will be collecting these items for all of September! Please turn in these materials to Mrs. SK, Mrs. Givens, or Mrs. Schroeder and make sure to sign for your hours in Mrs. SK's room (116)!
 
Students!  Make sure you sign up in Flex to attend a club or directed study before club period.  Everyone must sign up for an activity!  If you are choosing a directed study, pick one with a teacher who is on your schedule this semester. 
 
If clubs do not appear on your Flex options and you only see directed studies, that means that you have not submitted an Opt In form.  Ask your parents to check their emails for the form. 
 
High schoolers, Young Life club will be meeting tonight at 8:00 PM at the Young Life House. We hope to see you there!
 
Are you a middle school student interested in competing in a math competition?  Come to Tiger Time this Friday during any lunch to meet the MATHCOUNTS coach, Dr. Ye, from MTSU.  Tiger Time meets in the Library Lab during all lunches 7th period.
 
It is National Voter Registration week! If you will be 18 before the November 5th election, be sure to get registered to vote. Rho Kappa members will be in the senior cafeteria this week to help anyone who would need help in the process. Please see Mr. Eldridge if you have any questions.
 
The next College Corner visit will occur on a different day due to students being out of school on Tuesday. On WEDNESDAY, Sept. 18 a representative from Yale will be here to answer any questions you may have and to share information during C & D lunches. Please stop by and see him!
 
 
There will be an archery parent and informational meeting on Monday, September 23rd at 5:30 in the main cafeteria.  Please try to attend as I will be discussing how to get signed up for archery, practices, tournament schedule, expectations and much more.
 
The HS girls' basketball team is looking for a couple of basketball managers for the upcoming season. If you are interested, and or have questions about the responsibilities please come and see Coach Bush.
 
The CMS Ultimate Frisbee Team will have an interest meeting in Room 126 on Tuesday, September 24th right after school. Come by and Disc in!
 
The high school cross country team competed at the Southern Showcase meet in Huntsville, Alabama this past weekend. The team went up against some tough competitors yet still had several athletes hit their personal best. The top boy runners in the championship division were Blake Nutter, Ty Brown, and Henry Nance. The top boy runners in the blue division were Luca Guevart, Ben Hogan, and Jaden Yoder; in the crimson division were Collier Pawlowski, Brady Barrett, and Edan Pingitore; and in the gray division were Nathan Deinard, Sawyer Evans, and Hudsen Bock. The top girls in the blue division were Catherine Zubkus, Emma Griffith, and Rachel Benefield. The top girls in the crimson division were Olivia Egli, Analyn Richards, and Laura Jo Kraner. Congratulations to all our runners!
 
Congratulations to the middle school cross-country team. They competed in the Siegel Invitational on Saturday. The boys team placed first of out of 16 teams. The girls placed fifth out of twelve. Our top finishers were Philip Smith, Max Metzger, Adelyn King, and Elizabeth Hamilton. The team competes again this Saturday at Rockvale for the Rutherford County Championships.
